This line of flanges & flange union kits from HANTEMP are especially intended for use in stainess steel piping systems. Designed for mating with the COBRA-NECK® Ball Valves, but also compatible with flanged Hansen, R/S, Henry, and Frick valves. Can be properly welded to ordinary steel or stainless steel piping. Installation of stainless steel flanges with stainless steel piping ensures optimum weld joint properties. Socket or butt weld end connections are available; Schedule 40 or 10 end connections are available for butt weld flanges. Note: "butt weld" is the same as "weld neck".

A line of threaded stainless steel flanges is also available to broaden usage beyond welding installations.These flanges & unions are created using single-point threading to ensure that threaded joints are tight and easily connected to other male NPT refrigeration or cryogenic components including brass, iron, plastic, and aluminum. 3/4" to 21/2" pipe sizes are available (2 bolt configuration for 3/4" through 11/4"; 4 bolt configuration for 11/2" to 3" flanges).

To order Flange Kit: Specify flange size and connection style. Butt weld flange kits are supplied for Schedule 40 pipe connections; Schedule 10 available upon request. Orders include 2 male tongue flanges only.

Flanged & weld in-line installationsThis patented design of ball valves features stainless steel construction, very low pressure drop, gradual opening and closing, tight closing to stop flow in both directions, and an extended valve neck for simple insulation. Available with optional electric or pneumatic actuation for motorized control (see options and pricing below), keyed lock for lock-out/tag-out, and characterized v-port stainless steel ball for smoother flow modulation. Flanged valves are drop-in replacements for Hansen & Parker R/S. Compatible with all common industrial refrigerants (ammonia, CO2, Halocarbons, secondary refrigerants). Approved for 800 SWP and safe operating temperatures -70°F to +240°F.

To order: Specify model, port size, connection size and type (flanged or weld inline), and application details including refrigerant, temperature, and pressure. Ball valves are supplied with standard full port ball unless otherwise specified.

HANTEMP offers electric and pneumatic actuators for modulation and open/closed control of the ball rotation. Actuators are manufactured for broad valve compatability with standard F05 actuator mounting connection. All electric actuators include manual override handle for opening & closing.

HANTEMP presents an attractive, wrench-friendly stainless steel gauge valve which eliminates rusting and low-temperature embrittlement. The SGV Gauge Valve is suitable for isolation of gauges and transducers, venting, and pumpout of components. This safe back-seating design is approved for 800 Psig SWP and compatibility with all common refrigerants. The SGV is available as standard extended neck body or compact valve body (SGVC). Seal caps feature finger grips. An optional lanyard accessory avoids lost seal caps.

To order: Specify body type and (optional) seal cap lanyard. Customers are supplied with SGV standard body non-lanyard unless otherwise specified.

HANTEMP's compact, lightweight check valve is for weld inline installation. Constructed of stainless steel for optimal corrosion resistance, it is designed to prevent the reverse flow of refrigeration liquid or gas. No gaskets required. All stainless steel seating is for lifetime use. Approved for 2000 psig SWP.

This rugged, compact stainless steel refrigerant float switch offers superior visibility while conforming to conventional industry piping standards. Features a DIN connection, a switching arm utilizing a powerful neodymium magnet, and a yellow indicator wand providing clear visual indication of the switch position. This innovative, compact, lightweight, stainless steel ball valve is male tongue flanged on one end with a welded connection on the other end. Ideal isolation valve for service as it can be close coupled to other nominal 100 flanged valves or included with HANTEMP RR Flexible Stations. Additional applications include connection between vessel and a flanged controls column, service valve/union combination, coupling to strainers for easy service, and isolation of float switches/liquid level columns/oil pots. Supplied as an inlet/outlet pair for RR platform. QSVE version has slotted v-port ball for liquid expansion control.

To order: Specify size and connection type (socket or butt weld). Order separate optional female groove companion flange with stainless steel nuts & bolts and a gasket (p. 2). This new industrial refrigeration control uses a building block concept to create stainless steel control modules. These are easy to Install, to Repair, or to Remove. Standard HANTEMP Modular Regulators and Solenoid Valves are factory-assembled into simple packaged weld in-line assemblies with QSV Quick Service Valves ready for welding. Replace parts in situ or remove control module for service.
