1 Excellent! Thank you for hiring Rebecca!! I am very proud of her dedication to our organization and you should be

    proud too!

    9/11/2015 3:53 PM

2 Rebecca has done an outstanding job over the last year of listening to employees. She has found many ways to make

that happen, including brown bag lunches across the organization. Her style is inclusive, and I feel she encourages

honest input from senior staff. She has run far with the widespread promotion of the Battle Creek City's mission and

vision and has personally rewarded those that have learned what the mission and vision are. This has brought out

excitement in employees. She also has supported staff development efforts throughout the organization. Rebecca has

worked hard to develop relationships both inside and outside the organization, and she has an ability to think outside

the box to meet challenges. She has earned my utmost respect, and I find her to be a genuine and very likeable

person. I believe her leadership can take the City to the next level in customer service and efficiency.

    9/11/2015 12:23 PM

3 I personally have not had much interaction with the City Manager, so it's difficult to rate her on the questions presented

    here.

    9/10/2015 10:04 AM

4 Observations lead me to believe the City Manager is performing to meet expectations. I see efforts to improve

communication throughout all departments within the City.

    9/10/2015 8:08 AM

5 I'm new to management staff, but have found our manager to be accessible, decisive and friendly. She has exceeded

    my expectation for organizational leadership.

    9/9/2015 1:35 PM

6 Rebecca has joined our organization and has provided direction and positive energy. 9/8/2015 12:32 PM

7 I have enjoyed working with Rebecca thus far. With so many of us in new or expanded roles it is difficult to find TIME

to address every little thing, but they do no go ignored. I have confidence in where we are going, with who we are

going with and in the manner in which Rebecca is leading us.

    9/4/2015 12:50 PM

8 It is very refreshing to have a City Manager take time to follow up with staff to seek input and to also give recognition

and appreciation. Her positive but direct approach to handling challenges provides a good example to employees and

    community partners.

    9/4/2015 10:20 AM

9 A lot of inherited problems still exsist. Been here long enough to have corrected and still has not. Overall city labor

morale is low, mostly attributed to personnel hired or promoted since she has been here. I think she has potential to

be a good city manager but needs to address labor issues in a more positive way than using assistant city manager or

    employee relations director.

    9/3/2015 2:35 PM

10 I feel a great amount of support from Rebecca. I feel that what I do for the city and my opinions are valued. 9/3/2015 12:33 PM

11 She is a breath of fresh air. Just what Battle Creek needed. She is doing an awesome job. Full of energy. Very

    professional.

    9/3/2015 12:18 PM

12 I think Rebecca is doing an outstanding job. She is deligently working on a much needed change in culture at City

Hall. The job is clearly not "too big" for her and she has gone out of her way to be inclusive.

    9/3/2015 11:45 AM

13 Manager Fleury is still trying to find balance in our system. She seem intelligent and capable, but needs to realize that

her Senior Staff and Division Managers can provide tremendous assistance to her if she willing to include them. There

is a tremendous knowledge base in the City and her resources are much broader than she seems to realize.

    9/3/2015 11:41 AM

14 Very pleased with the selection of Rebecca Fleury. Has brought a fresh perspective into a tough environment with

many practices (and persons) unchallenged. BC is moving forward-with a new perspective. Cannot expect change

without a little dust in the air. Commission 2014/15 got this selection right.

    9/3/2015 11:40 AM

15 Rebecca has sat in on several police line-ups and entertained questions from the officers. She seems very open and

    honest as well as approachable.

    9/3/2015 11:24 AM

16 Rebecca is very different from any CM we have had. She is a professional manager with alliance to the organization

as a whole and the community. She is very likable and that is an asset as the leader of a public body. I like her direct

style and willingness to change structure when it makes sense rather than view things as "it's always been this way" I

    enjoy working for her.
