IMPORTANT GENERAL REMINDERS

• Always secure the counter area and keep personal items out of sight

• The location of keys or knowledge of vault combinations should be kept

strictly confidential

• Upon resignation of an outlet staff, immediately change the vault combination

• Always confirm the identity of anyone who calls or who comes to the

location claiming to be ALOG staff ; Ask for a valid ID – if in doubt, call Head

Office for confirmation

• Confirm the identity of casino staff who approach you for any reason and

record the incident. Ensure in-coming staff are aware

• Use a different phone to call out from the one the call came in on. Record

incidents you are unsure of. Ensure in-coming staff are aware

CASH CHECK REMINDERS

• Secure cash in the proper places. Do not leave cash on or beneath the

counter. Lock the cash drawer at all times

• Conduct cash turn-over and cash checks out of sight from customers and the

general public

• Only count cash in a secure location that is accessible only to the outlet staff-

on-duty

• Do not rely on another staff member’s calculation on turn-over. Check for

yourself.

• Get another staff member to confirm your calculations when checking

• Keep money in a secure place until it can be collected

BETTING TRANSACTION REMINDERS

• Never confirm a bet unless you physically have the cash on hand. No money

no bet.

• Always check if payment received is counterfeit or not, especially large

amount. Check manually or with a money detector

• Do not accept transactions from players over the phone or through text

messages. Advise them to visit the outlets or open a TeleBet account.

• When placing bets, always call back the bet with the customer for

confirmation

• Get the customer to confirm with you the amount of the cash being paid in

and out

BETTING TRANSACTION REMINDERS

• Ensure that the customer signs the bet/paid out tickets

• Treat all customer information as confidential; Customer IDs should be

returned immediately upon confirmation of identity; Photocopies should be

properly filed immediately

• Report any discrepancies early, once it has been established it is not an error

in calculation

• Always request for call-back when conducting TeleBet/Customer Service

transactions

• When cashing-in casino chips, request to be accompanied by security

personnel.

• Record all the day-to-day transactions in the proper report, especially those

involving cash

FUND TRANSFER REMINDERS

• Only the following authorized personnel are allowed to transfer cash to and

from the outlets:

• General Manager

• Operations Manager

• Field Operations Head

• Area Coordinator

• Outlet Supervisor

• Only the General Manager and Operations Manager can issue fund transfer

orders to an outlet and/or staff

• Sr. Client Relations Specialists and Client Relations Specialists can conduct

fund transfers only upon the approval/instruction of the Operations Manager

FUND TRANSFER REMINDERS

• Fund transfers should be always be supported by a Cash Transmittal Form and

emailed to the relevant recipients for reconciliation purposes

• If significant amounts require banking, split the amount into a number of trips

or request collection from the Head Office.

• The maximum amount allowed per trip per level is as follows:

• Area Coordinator = PHP 200,000

• Outlet Supervisor = PHP 100,000

• Other Outlet Staff = PHP 50,000

• A cash count is required prior to transferring funds and upon receipt of

funds.

FUND TRANSFER REMINDERS

• When banking, go at different times, if possible use different routes

• Keep cash out of sight and prepare the money at least half an hour before you

have to leave to bank.

• Be aware of your surroundings and the people nearby

• If you are suspicious of anyone, return to the outlet immediately. Enter the

secure area and report the incident to security and head office personnel

• If an attempt is made to take the cash, do not resist but use the personal

attack alarm. This alone may scare them off or at least make them leave you

quickly – it’s the cash they want
