1. Always Be Connecting• Provide personalized greetings and goodbyes to as many

students, families, and guests as possible each day.• We are their host• Use names• Use specifics• Brief comments on their world outside of TKD• Primary focus is on how we know them• Avoid nick names/excessive touch

Students and families must consistently be reminded that you know them and that you are excited to be working with them everyday!

2. Always Be Coaching• We “team teach” all of our classes• Get on the mat as quickly as you can after you arrive and stay on the mat for virtually

the entire time (keep breaks short - no cell phone- feedback short)• There is no drill that should be “running itself”• Initially It’s up to the head instructor to assign roles and responsibilities• If you are on the mat - you should be making an impact

Cleaning Procedures1. Complete the Daily Cleaning Checklist before signing out at the end of

each workday.

2. Replenish paper products immediately as needed.

3. Report facility maintenance issues immediately to the School Director.

Calling Off Procedures1. Your Director and Master(s) will do their best to accommodate schedule

changes and conflicts when ADVANCE NOTICE is provided. Two weeks is the customary length of time of advance notice.

2. It is your responsibility to find an appropriate cover. Ask World Class Instructors first, Leadership Team second. If you have difficulties, communicate your challenges with the School Director first, as early as possible.

3. When an emergency occurs, call the School Director directly. Do not text unless the School Director is unable to take your call.
