The Comedy of Errors and Funk It Up About Nothin’ (CST, Edinburgh, New York, Australian tour, London). Other Chicago credits include the world premiere of Welcome to Arroyo’s (American Theater Company) and Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde (Bohemian Theatre Ensemble). GQ (Creator/Director/Scrooge) returns to Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where his credits include: Othello: The Remix (CST, London, Germany, Edinburgh, South Korea); and Funk It Up About Nothin’ (CST, Edinburgh, New York, Australian tour, London). G co-created and starred in the off Broadway smash hit, The Bomb-itty of Errors. Along with his brother JQ, G wrote and starred in a hip-hop/ sketch comedy TV show, Scratch and Burn (MTV). Screen credits include the movies Drumline, Taxi, I Think I Love My Wife, and Werner Herzog’s Rescue Dawn. He wrote, directed and starred in the film Just Another Story (Showtime). He has had prominent roles on Boston Public (Fox) and Numbers (CBS) and co-starred in the one-hour drama Johnny Zero (Fox). G is a member of the Chicago-based comedic rap group known as The Retar Crew. Originally from Chicago, he received his BFA from the Experimental Theatre Wing of Tisch School of the Arts at NYU.

JQ (Creator/Director/Composer/Marley/Belle/Present/Lil’ Tim and others) returns to Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where his credits include: Othello: The Remix (CST, London, Germany, Edinburgh, South Korea); and Funk It Up About Nothin’ (CST, Edinburgh, New York, Australian tour, London). Born and raised in Chicago, he made his off Broadway debut as DJ/Composer for The Bomb-itty of Errors. Along with the Bomb-itty guys, J wrote and starred in the hip-hop/sketch comedy TV show, Scratch and Burn (MTV). For his co-creator/brother GQ’s film, Just Another Story (Showtime), he created the score and original soundtrack. He is currently the co-host (with oldest brother TQ) of Smallflower TV, a video blog about natural health and old-school shaving. With his brother GQ, his awards include: two-time Jeff Award—Best Ensemble for Funk It Up About Nothin’ and Othello: The Remix; from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the Dress Circle Award for Best Musical for Funk It Up About Nothin’ and the Best Musical and Best Lyrics awards from the MTM Awards for Othello: The Remix.

POSTELL PRINGLE (Bob Cratchit/Past/Martha Cratchit and others) returns to Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where his credits include Othello: The Remix (CST, London, Germany, Edinburgh, South Korea) and Funk It Up About Nothin’ (CST, Edinburgh, Australian tour, London). Broadway credits include A Free Man of Color (Lincoln Center Theater). Off Broadway credits include: The Seven (New York Theatre Workshop, La Jolla Playhouse); Song for New York (Mabou Mines) and Hoodoo Love (Cherry Lane Theatre). Other credits include: Broke-ology (Kansas City Repertory Theatre); King Hedley III (American Stage); and The Old Settler (Triad Stage). Film credits include Unknown Soldier and Orange Bow. Television credits include: Rescue Me (FX), Law & Order and Law & Order: Criminal Intent (NBC). Mr. Pringle holds a BA from Bates College. He is a Q Brothers company member, playwright and hip-hop artist/producer. He is a member of the Chicago band The Retar Crew, who have toured extensively and have six free albums available online. Mr. Pringle received the Jeff Award—Best Ensemble for Othello: The Remix.

DJ SUPER NOVA (DJ) makes his Chicago Shakespeare Theater debut. A DJ with eight years of experience, Super Nova is no stranger to theater, with credits as the DJ and Sound Designer for the Q Brothers’ Funk It Up About Nothin’ and Bomb-itty of Errors (Penn State Center Stage). He was also involved in Revenge of a King (National Arts Festival, South Africa). Other credentials include Smash/Hit! and Insidious (The Black Rep, St. Louis). RICK BOYNTON (Creative Producer) focuses on current and future artistic planning and production, as well as the development of all new plays, musicals and adaptations for CST. Recent projects include: A Q Brothers’ Christmas Carol, Cadre (co-director) (CST, Johannesburg, Grahamstown, Edinburgh), Othello: The Remix (CST, London, Germany, Edinburgh, South Korea), Funk It Up About

Nothin’ (CST, Edinburgh, Australian tour, London), A Flea in Her Ear (CST, Williamstown Theatre Festival), The Three Musketeers (CST, Boston, London), The Emperor’s New Clothes, The Adventures of Pinocchio, Murder for Two (CST, New York 2013) and The Feast: an intimate Tempest (in collaboration with Redmoon). Former artistic director of the Marriott Theatre and multiple Jeff Award-winning actor, he has starred in productions nationally, including CST’s production of A Flea in Her Ear as Camille (Jeff Award, After Dark Award). As casting director/associate at Jane Alderman Casting, projects included: the television series Early Edition, Missing Persons, Untouchables and ER; the films While You Were Sleeping and Hoodlum, among others; and numerous national tours. Mr. Boynton has lectured at his alma mater Northwestern University, and is president of the board of the National Alliance for Musical Theatre.

SCOTT DAVIS (Scenic and Costume Designer) returns to Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where his credits include: Shrek the Musical, Cadre, Othello: The Remix (CST, London, Germany, Edinburgh, South Korea), Beauty and the Beast, Murder for Two, Short Shakespeare! Romeo and Juliet and Short Shakespeare! Macbeth. Other Chicago credits include productions with: Goodman Theatre, Steppenwolf Garage, Court Theatre, Victory Gardens Theater, Drury Lane Theatre, Northlight Theatre, Griffin Theatre and Northwestern University. Regional credits include productions with: Milwaukee Repertory Theater, Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center, Rep Stage and Dallas Theatre Center. Mr. Davis serves as adjunct faculty at Columbia College having received degrees from the University of Maryland College Park and Northwestern University.

JESSE KLUG (Lighting Designer) returns for his sixteenth production with Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where his credits include: Cyrano de Bergerac, Shrek the Musical, Cadre, Othello: The Remix (CST, Germany, Edinburgh, South Korea, London), Murder for Two, How Can You Run with a Shell on Your Back?, The Three Musketeers and Seussical! The Musical. Other Chicago credits include productions with: Marriott Theatre, Goodman Theatre, Broadway in Chicago, Victory Gardens Theater, Lookingglass Theatre Company, Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Court Theatre, Writers Theatre, American Theater Company, TimeLine Theatre Company and Chicago Dramatists. Off Broadway credits include: The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity (Lucile Lortel Award Nomination and Henry Hewes Award nomination, Second Stage); The Screw Tape Letters (Westside Arts and the national tour); Romulus (Guggenheim Museum); and The Hourglass (NYMF). Regional credits include productions with: Milwaukee Repertory Theater, Fulton Theatre, Portland Center Stage, Indiana Repertory Theatre, Asolo Repertory and Shakespeare Theatre Company. MALOO (Wig and Make-up Designer) has designed wigs and make-up for over seventy productions at CST, including: Cyrano de Bergerac, Henry VIII, Julius Caesar, The School for Lies (Jeff Award), Sunday in the Park with George, Othello: The Remix (CST, London, Germany, Edinburgh, South Korea), Timon of Athens, Elizabeth Rex (Jeff Award nomination), Follies, The Madness of George III (Jeff Award), As You Like It, Twelfth Night, Macbeth, Amadeus, Funk It Up About Nothin’, Othello, Passion, Troilus and Cressida, Henry IV Parts 1 and 2 (at CST and Royal Shakespeare Company), and Rose Rage: Henry VI Parts 1, 2 and 3 (at CST and The Duke on 42nd Street). She worked for ten seasons with the Stratford Festival, where she received four Tyrone Guthrie Awards, including the Jack Hutt Humanitarian Award. Other Canadian credits include work with: Shaw Festival, Mirvish Productions and The Grand Theatre in London, Ontario. Maloo received the 2007 Hurckes Award for Artisans and Technicians.

ANACRON (Choreographer) makes his Chicago Shakespeare Theater debut. He has worked extensively with Collaboraction and taught for a decade at The Old Town School of Folk Music. Dancing professionally since the late 1980s, he has since performed and competed globally as a member of Chicago’s Brickheadz Crew and The L.A. Breakers. Anacron led and coordinated official dance workshops for four years at Lollapalooza Music Festival. Television appearances include: Safe and Sound (Capital Cities music video); America’s Best Dance Crew (MTV); and Show Us Your Character (USA Network). Based in Los Angeles, Anacron continues to record, release, and perform original songs as a fifteen-year veteran of the underground music scene. As a recent graduate of the Music Business Program at UCLA, he utilizes his industry experience and connections as the creator and producer of Unfamous Fest, a buzzing and respected independent arts event.

GRETA HONOLD (Q Brothers Producing Company Manager) is a Chicago-based producer, actor and arts administrator with over fifteen years experience working in theater. In addition to her work with the Q Brothers, she has worked behind the scenes at Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Court Theatre, Second

City, About Face Theatre and Dog & Pony. As a corporate event producer. She has helped create interactive experiences for such major clients as Intel, Wells Fargo, PWC and Deloitte. As an actor she has been seen onstage at Goodman Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Chicago Dramatists, Chicago Children’s Theatre, Collaboraction, Profiles Theatre, Redmoon and Piven Theatre, among others. Her television appearances include: The Mob Doctor, Chicago Code, Detroit 187 and What About Joan? Ms. Honold is a graduate of the School at Steppenwolf, received her BA from the University of Chicago and her MFA in Arts Leadership from the Theatre School at DePaul University, in conjunction with Chicago Shakespeare Theater.

AMANDA J. DAVIS (Production Stage Manager) returns to Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where her credits include: assistant stage manager for Murder for Two and Short Shakespeare! Macbeth; and stage coordinator for CPS Shakespeare! Romeo and Juliet and The Taming of the Shrew. Other Chicago credits include: production stage manager for 42nd Street (Theatre at the Center); Fugitive Songs (The Music Theatre Company); The Exonerated (Next Theatre Company, Theatre and Interpretation Center of Northwestern University); and The Agony and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs (ETOPiA). Ms. Davis is a graduate of Northwestern University.

BOB MASON (Artistic Associate/Casting Director) is in his fourteenth season as casting director at CST, where his credits include over eighty productions and twenty-nine plays of Shakespeare’s canon. In addition to eighteen productions with Artistic Director Barbara Gaines, other CST productions of note include: a quintet of Stephen Sondheim musicals (Pacific Overtures, Sunday in the Park with George, A Little Night Music, Passion and Follies) directed by Gary Griffin; as well as Rose Rage: Henry VI Parts 1, 2 and 3 directed by Edward Hall; and The Molière Comedies directed by Brian Bedford. Additional Chicago casting credits include: the Sondheim/Hal Prince premiere of Bounce (Goodman Theatre and the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts) and productions for Northlight Theatre and Northwestern University’s American Music Theatre Project. Prior to casting, Mr. Mason enjoyed a fifteen-year career as a Jeff Award-winning Chicago actor and singer, and has been a visiting educator for School at Steppenwolf, Acting Studio Chicago, University of Illinois at Chicago and Northwestern University.

RICHARD JORDAN PRODUCTIONS LTD (Producing Partner) is an Olivier- and Tony Award-winning producer. His London-based company Richard Jordan Productions Ltd, founded in 1998 and enjoying associations with many of the world’s leading theaters and arts organizations, has produced over 180 productions in the UK and 19 other countries, including 59 US, UK and Australian premieres. Described by The Stage newspaper as “one of the UK’s most prolific theatre producers,” Mr. Jordan has been at the forefront of developing and presenting works by a diverse range of established and emerging writers and artists. Named seven times in The Stage’s top 100

theater professionals, he was the first recipient of the TIF/Society of London Theatre Producers Award. His co-production of Roadkill won the 2012 Laurence Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement at an Affiliate Theatre. In New York his co-production of Christopher Durang’s new play Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike received the 2013 Tony Award for Best New Play, as well as the Drama Desk, Drama League, New York Critics, Broadway.com and Outer Critic Circle Best New Play Awards. His past productions in the US have received the Helen Hayes, US Black Alliance, Jeff and Obie Awards. Mr. Jordan enjoys a close relationship with Chicago Shakespeare Theater with which he has produced: Itsoseng, en route, A History of Everything, Roadkill, Dickens’ Women, Cadre and the world tour of the Q Brothers’ Funk It Up About Nothin’ and Othello: The Remix.

BARBARA GAINES (Artistic Director) is the founder of Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where she has directed more than thirty of Shakespeare’s plays. Honors include: the Tony Award for Outstanding Regional Theatre; the prestigious Honorary OBE (Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) in recognition of her contributions strengthening British-American cultural relations; and Joseph Jefferson Awards for Best Production (Hamlet, Cymbeline, King Lear and The Comedy of Errors), and for Best Director (Cymbeline, King Lear and The Comedy of Errors). She directed Giuseppe Verdi’s Macbeth at the Lyric Opera. She received the Public Humanities Award from the Illinois Humanities Council, and is the recipient of the Spirit of Loyola Award. Ms. Gaines received an Honorary Doctorate of Letters from University of Birmingham (UK). She serves on the Shakespearean Council of Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London and is a Life Trustee of Northwestern University.

CRISS HENDERSON (Executive Director) has produced CST’s past twenty-four seasons. Under his leadership the Theater has become one of the city’s major cultural attractions. Honors include the Tony Award for Outstanding Regional Theatre, as well as multiple Laurence Olivier and Joseph Jefferson Awards. Mr. Henderson was named Arts Administrator of the Year by Arts Management Magazine at The Kennedy Center; was recognized among the top 40 business people under the age of 40 in Crain’s Chicago Business; and was named Chevalier de L’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the Minister of Culture of France. He serves as president of the Producers’ Association of Chicago-area Theatres, and on the board of the League of Chicago Theatres. Mr. Henderson is director of the MFA/Arts Leadership Program, a two-year, graduate-level curriculum in arts management training created through a joint partnership between Chicago Shakespeare Theater and The Theatre School at DePaul University.
