Have a wonderful time at the Evergreen and in Yosemite!
The Evergreen Team
WELCOME TO THE EVERGREEN LODGE!We are delighted to have you as our guest and look forward to treating you to a timeless Yosemite experience in our
serene, comfortable and fun setting away from the masses. We’re happy to answer any questions and to help you plan your ultimate Yosemite adventure. Here is some information to get you started…
WHAT ABOUT BREAKFAST?To help get your day started right, our Restaurant offers a full-service menu of specialty and classic breakfast entrées, with outdoor front porch seating available seasonally.
For those on the go, our General Store features made-to-order espresso drinks, coffee/tea and a variety freshly made breakfast items and trail supplies.
LUNCH?Our Tavern offers a full-service menu, which is also available seasonally on our Outdoor Patio adjacent to the Tavern. And our General Store is always ready for those on the go, with picnic and trail-ready options including freshly made sandwiches and much more.
In summer you can also order off the café menu at our Pool Bar, which features signature cocktails, mocktails and a seasonal beer selection.
DINNER TIME!A diverse menu is available in our Restaurant, Outdoor Patio and Tavern, offering an array of lodge classics and a selection of our chef’s favorite seasonal items. The food selection and service are the same in all three locations.
A delicious, classic poolside barbecue is also available seasonally with menus that rotate nightly so you always have something new to try throughout your stay.
To make dinner reservations, please stop by the host stand during open hours or visit the Front Desk. Tavern seating is on a first-come, first served basis.
GIFTS AND GOODIESOur classic General Store is stocked with trail-ready food and drinks, including fresh house-made breakfast items, sandwiches and salads. The store is also a great stop for custom made coffee beverages, happy hour supplies, games, gear, apparel and gifts made by local artisans.
Our online store offers favorites like our signature bath and body products, souvenir wooden stickers, reusable water bottles, apparel, gift cards and more.
A CENTURY OF ADVENTURES!The Evergreen Lodge has been a vibrant part of the Yosemite landscape since 1921. The lodge was originally developed as a post office, restaurant and general store to serve workers building the Hetch Hetchy Valley dam. Lore has it that moonshine was brewed in the basement of the lodge during Prohibition and illegal slot machines operated in the tavern in the 30’s.
We acquired the lodge 20 years ago and have since reconceived, expanded and redesigned the Evergreen with the goal of providing a rich, timeless Yosemite experience for couples and families alike. While a lot has changed since the Evergreen first opened in 1921, fortunately much has remained the same. We feel lucky to be stewards of such a special place, and we are committed to making sure the Evergreen continues to create lasting memories for another hundred years.
MAKING THE MOST OF YOUR VISITEasy…stop by our Recreation Desk and we’ll be happy to help you figure out the very best ideas for your party. We can help you catch the key sights or get off the beaten path, or both! Our Rec Team is happy to give you ideas and directions for adventures, or you can sign up for one of our professionally guided trips. We also have bikes and plenty of other gear for rent in all seasons.
While onsite, please explore our 20-acre property where you’ll find lots of fun surprises for kids and adults alike, including indoor and outdoor games, daily activities, play areas and more. Be sure to visit our Pool Area with large saltwater pool (heated year-round) and hot tub, and our stunning Sunset Deck.
While you’re here, we also invite you to visit our sister property, Rush Creek Lodge, including our amazing, brand new Rush Creek Spa!
YOUR HAPPINESS MATTERSIt’s important to us that you have an amazing stay here and take home lasting memories that will make you smile whenever you think of your trip to Yosemite. If there is anything we can do resolve an issue you are having or to make your stay even more special, please reach out to us right away.
You can contact us by using your in-room phone, visiting the Front Desk or sending an email to [email protected].
