STACKCRUISER®

SELF-PROPELLED BALE WAGONS102 I 103 I 105

A long and proud heritageWith more than 60 years of leadership in automated bale handling, New Holland introduces three new Stackcruiser® models, including one dedicated exclusively to handling large square bales. No matter which model you choose, you’ll unload tight, even stacks of bales without manual labor.

STACKCRUISER® MODEL OVERVIEW

Consistent stacks of tightly packed bales without breaking a sweat.

02

More power, more traction A Tier 4 Final engine delivers an increased 190 horsepower and saves fuel using ECOBlue™ engine technology. Increased hydraulic capacity means more operational efficiency and productivity in the field. Stackcruiser bale wagons keep you moving in difficult conditions with the increased traction provided by rear differential lock.

Small bales, large bales or both — a New Holland exclusiveOnly New Holland bale wagons offer the versatility to handle such a wide variety of bale sizes — small square bales, large square bales, or BOTH. The Stackcruiser 102 creates stacks three bales wide, handling 14” x 18” or 16” x 18” bales, while the Stackcruiser 103 handles 16” x 18” two-tie bales and a variety of three-tie bales. Both models can handle large square bales too. Simply add the Mil-Stak® clamp to work with bales produced by large square balers, including New Holland BigBalers, and you can switch back to small bales quickly when needed. The Stackcruiser 105 is the best solution for dedicated handling of large square bales since it omits components needed to handle small square bales, saving you money. All StackCruiser models are factory-ready to accept the Mil-Stak large square bale clamp.

MIL-STAK SPECIFICATIONS

More convenience tooThe New Holland cab keeps you comfortable and efficient even on the longest days. LED work lights provide improved visibility during nighttime operation. The new Stack Command™ II system provides a wide selection of pre-programmed and customizable bale stacking patterns. Operation and programming are completely intuitive to take the stress out of your day.

04 PERFORMANCE AND PRODUCTIVITY

Smooth, efficient power for loading, hauling and stacking.

ECOBlue™ technology and powerAt 190 horsepower, today’s Stackcruiser® bale wagons deliver more power and efficiency than ever before. Not only can they work longer in the field before needing fuel, these new models feature engines that share the New Holland family ECOBlue™ clean air technology and meet Tier 4 Final low emissions standards to go easy on the environment.

The efficiency of multiple pumpsTwo hydraulic systems with three pumps provide plenty of flow where it’s needed when loading bales in the field. The efficiency of this system allows for faster cycle times, particularly when working with large square bales and the Mil-Stak clamp. A 7.0-gpm (gallons per minute) gear pump provides flow for the power steering, brake booster and the park brake. The hydraulic motors that operate the bale loader and cross conveyor are supplied by an 18.0-gpm gear pump. And a 31.5-gpm piston pump provides flow for the closed-center, load-sensing hydraulic system that provides flow to the cylinders that require higher flow.

Easy servicingTwo hydraulic valve manifolds — one for the gear pumps and one for the piston pump — provide easy servicing. A sight gauge on the hydraulic tank takes only a glance to monitor the oil level. A convenient service door provides easy access to the radiator and swing-out oil coolers. Four-piston rear disc brakes provide smooth braking performance and easy servicing compared to drum brakes.

Five speeds for easy loading and transportIn the field or on the road, the Stackcruiser five-speed automatic transmission with lock-up torque converter provides excellent speed matching ability. First gear provides a slower ground speed for increased productivity in high-density crops, while the overdrive in fifth gear allows for fast 50-mph road transport.

Locking rear differential for traction when you need itA new two-speed rear axle with automatic locking rear differential provides improved traction in slippery or uneven conditions — a clear advantage when working with heavy large bales. A rocker switch gives you control of the two-speed rear axle.

Heavy-duty front axle expands versatilityA heavy-duty front axle allows all Stackcruiser bale wagons to accept the payload capacity requirements of the Mil-Stak large bale handling attachment. The Mil-Stak attachment can be removed easily so you can switch from handling large 3’x3’ or 3’x4’ rectangular bales back to picking up small square bales in no time.

Features to match your needsFirst table and/or auxiliary first table flow control valves allow you to adjust bale delivery speed if you deal with bales that vary greatly in weight.

Cooling fan reverser automatically reverses the fan after each load to help blow dirt out of the radiator and intercooler and remove chaff from the radiator screen.

05

06 CONTROL AND COMFORT

Stack bales with precision and ease.

Outstanding visibility, day or nightThe high position of the cab and the large front, side and rear windows give you an excellent all-around view. The left-hand, external mirror provides good visibility when stacking and on the road, and the inside rearview mirror gives you a clear view to the second table. In addition, five LED work lights provide bright, clear light for improved visibility during night-time operation.

Convenient, single-handed controlThe multi-function handle puts convenient operation of all bale handling operations in one central location. Put the handle in the perfect position for you. It adjusts up, down, fore, aft and rotates. When unloading bales, the multi-function puts you in control of the load rack, rolling rack and push-off feet. The load rack features two raise speeds, putting precise control at your fingertips. The rolling rack allows you to stack partial loads when necessary.

Easy control with Stack Command™ IIThe new Stack Command™ II monitor provides up to 35 pre-programmed stack patterns as well as room for 20 custom patterns that you can program — all available to you at the touch of a button. The system is simple to use and provides grouped functions for intuitive operation. A “favorites” stack pattern function allows you to scroll through only those patterns you use the most, making stack selection quicker and easier. The digital readout conveniently displays current bale status and allows you to monitor the bale loading process.

Additional instruments keep you up to dateAn updated, modernized front instrument cluster bears familiar New Holland family styling and allows you to monitor fuel and DEF level, gear selection, ground speed, load rack position and more, while the warning light display keeps you apprised of key machine functions.

Stretch out and get comfortableEven long days of loading and unloading bales can be spent in maximum comfort in the quiet, iso-mounted Stackcruiser™ cab. Sit in the air-ride, adjustable swivel seat and you have lots of legroom thanks to the design of the tilt steering column and right-hand control console. Complete climate control further enhances your comfort with multiple air vents and simple adjustments to control the flow of air conditioning and optional heat to suit your liking. The HVAC condenser is now separate from the coolers for more effective operation and eliminating cab warm up when unloading stacked bales.

08 COMPLIMENTARY PRODUCTS

No one bales more hay than New Holland.

Commercial contractors and operators have made quality hay the New Holland way for generations. New Holland still sets the standard for creating dense, high-quality bales that are easier to handle, transport and feed.

High-quality bales at faster speedIt’s a competitive market and New Holland BigBalers make superior square, dense bales every time with no excuses. And with baling speeds up to 110 bales/hour, BigBalers get the job done more quickly — when the crop is ready.

Increased bale densityBigBaler Plus models from New Holland take baling to a new level of productivity and efficiency. The bale chamber is 31.5 inches longer than previous models, which results in bales that are up to 10% more dense. The longer chamber also provides for gentler bale drop for no twine popping in the heat of the day.

Designed for tough and changing conditionsThe high-capacity MaxiSweep™ pickup conquers the toughest crops and increases feeding capacity. SmartFill™ directional indicators give you real-time feedback to make perfect bales every time. Since New Holland locates the bale flake formation indicators at the front of the precompression chamber, not at the plunger, you get industry-leading reactions to changing windrow conditions.

Proven knotter system — bale after baleNew Holland’s reliable, accurate, double-tie knotter system maintains high density without stress on the knotter. The single-piece front shield glides open for easy service or cleaning.

Ideal chop lengthFor more tightly packed, heavier bales that allow for better fermentation and silage quality, choose a BigBaler with a CropCutter™ feeding system — the simple Packer Cutter (BigBaler 230/330 Plus) or the Rotor Cutter (BigBaler 330/340 Plus) for the widest range of chop lengths, including lengths as small as 1.5 inches.

BIGBALER PLUS LARGE SQUARE BALERS:

Uniform feedingThe exclusive, award-winning New Holland rotary feeding system is a mechanically simple system that produces smooth, even crop flow through the baler. New Holland’s smallest model, the BC5050, uses the proven FlowAction™ feeder with six gentle-action feeder tines. Both systems are chain driven for reliability, and are easy to service and adjust. Strong plunger strokes create dense, uniform bale flakes.

BC5000 SMALL SQUARE BALERS:

Reliable, hard-working, crop-saving balersMore than eighty years after the introduction of the first successful automatic hay baler, New Holland still leads the way with the most rugged, high-capacity small square balers on the market. Livestock farmers and commercial baling operators alike put their trust in BC5000 Series square balers because they make consistently dense, well-shaped bales that are easy to handle. New Holland bales are the only choice for hand-feeding because they quickly separate into consistent flakes for easy measurement and feeding.

Leave no crop behindWide, SuperSweep™ pickups use multiple rows of curved teeth to save protein-rich leaves and gather all of the windrow. The large 283-square-inch feed opening (318-sq.-in. on BC5080) allows for maximum capacity.
