Puente, drawing upon musicalinfluences from around the globe.Rooted in Omar’s Afro Cubanheritage, the project fuses musicalexperiences from Brazil, Africa, theCaribbean and Europe, with a deepunderstanding of Jazz. This rich mixproduces an album of complex andinfectious rhythms and originalmelodies, performed by amultinational sextet, and an unusualcombination of violin, trombone andextended rhythm section.
