This Workshop will be offered by the of Stability and Trim for the Ships Ofcer , William E. George. With William Georges methodyou really need is the vessels hydrostatic table, capacity plan, a simple calculator and a few sof paper. Participants will be able to eliminate the trial and error methods now used with loacomputers by employing these direct Old School Methods covered in the workshop.

All participants who attend the rst offering of this workshop will receive an autographed copStability and Trim for the Ships Ofcer , 4th Edition.

What Makes BEYOND BASIC STABILITY different?Experience. William E. George has developed a unique method of teaching vessel stability and trim since 19he rst rewroteStability and Trim for the Ships Ofcer , 3rd Ed. Over the past 28 years his knowledge has beenevolving every year by having access and interviewing on average over 200 ships ofcers per year during hicourse of employment with National Cargo Bureau, Inc. In 2005 he took this knowledge and rewroteStability andTrim for the Ships Ofcer creating the 4th Edition based on over 4,000 interviews with ship Captains and ChOfcers on vessels ranging from commercial shing vessels to Panamax bulk carriers. This information helpto discover the missing information the schools overlooked because of the traditional way stability and trim wstill is taught. From 1977 until 2005 he also wrote and administered National Cargo Bureaus three USCG Apcorrespondence courses in Ships Stability, Damage Stability and Stability for Fishermen.

William George will teach the paradigm that the vessel knows its true condition and how you can use the inftaken directly from the vessel to make simple direct calculations without wasting time using trial and error m

William Georges Goal for you:You will have a clear understanding of the most powerful skills of a highly effective Ships Ofcer for managvessels Stability and Trim. You will be ready to put your new skills to immediate use. How would you like toto plan a vessel loading to take maximum cargo trough the Panama Canal, by knowing the vessels consumpcalculating the actual drafts at completion of loading at Seattle so you arrive even keel at Gatun Lake with a wdensity of 0.9954?
