CEMETERY CLEAN UP Cemetery clean up has been
completed. Decorations can be put back any time.
IMPORTANT MAUSOLEUM RESTORATION NOTICE Cemetery caretakers have begun
restoration work on the mausoleum floor. Some equipment is already on site. Part of the restoration will require the mausoleum to be closed for a period of time so as to allow caretakers to wax and seal the floor. When the doors are chained shut, visitors will not be permitted. The project is dependent on consistent warmer weather temperatures. For this reason, a specific time frame is difficult to determine. We apologize for any inconvenience.
PARISH OFFICE HOURS The Parish Office will be closed
Monday, April 17th for nonessential business. The phone and answering machine will be monitored for emergencies. The office will reopen on Tuesday, April 18th at 8:30 AM. Happy Easter!

HOLY HUMOR A father was approached by his small son who told him
proudly, "I know what the Bible means!"
His father smiled and replied, "What do you mean,
you 'know' what the Bible means?
The son replied, "I do know!"
"Okay," said his father. "What does the Bible mean?"
"That's easy, Daddy..." the young boy replied
excitedly, “It stands for 'Basic Information Before
Leaving Ear th.”

A Sunday School teacher began her lesson with a
question, "Boys and girls, what do we know about
God?"
A hand shot up in the air "He is an artist!" said the
kindergarten boy.
"Really? How do you know?" the teacher asked.
"You know - Our Father, who does art in Heaven..."

PSALMS: THE SCHOOL OF PRAYER BIBLE STUDY COMING IN MAY
At the heart of the Bible are the Psalms—prayers from God that help us learn to pray. The Holy Spirit inspired them. Israel sang them. Christ and our Blessed Mother prayed them. Their words capture the imagination and draw us into a deeply personal encounter with God. Psalms: The School of Prayer, presented by Jeff Cavins, Sarah Christmyer and Dr. Tim Gray, is an 11 week program. In addition to study materials (i.e. session summaries, reading assignments, study questions/responses, a Psalms reference card, and more), a Catholic Bible is needed.
Classes will be on Wednesdays as other Bible studies have been. Cost is $30 for materials. Sign up sheets are available in the Parish Office and Religious Education Counter (second floor). Please note, participant materials
must be paid in full before an order will be placed. Deadline for signing up and payment is April 24th. For those who have already signed up, please note whether you would prefer the morning or evening next to your name.
Contact Shellie Gabel at 419-435-6681 or [email protected].
