During Mass God speaks to us during the Liturgy of the Word. As a lector, you act as God’s spokesperson during this part of the liturgy. There is a training session for adult lectors on Wednesday, June 1st at 6:30 PM in the church.
Please call the parish office (936.295.8159) if you are planning to attend.
EUCHARISTIC MINISTER TRAINING… A beautiful way to become more involved in the celebration of the Eucharist is to serve as an extraordinary minister of Holy Communion. To share the Eucharist with your fellow parishioners is a sacred experience. There is a training session for adults who would like to serve in this capacity. Eucharistic ministers must be at least 17-18 years of age, fully initiated in the Catholic Church (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist), and if married, have had their marriage recognized by the Catholic Church. The training session for those who would like to serve in this ministry will be on Wednesday, June 8th at 6:30 PM in the church.
Please call the parish office (936.295.8159) if you are planning to attend.

Patience wins when wrongs are borne patiently for the love of God, who is patient with all the wrong we do.

REFLECTION… Feast of Corpus Christi: May 29 That the abundant baskets of leftover loaves and fishes may remind us that God can work wondrous deeds when we are willing to share even our smallest gifts. “They all ate and were satisfied. And when the leftover fragments were picked up, they filled twelve wicker baskets.” Luke 9:17 The story of the Loaves and Fish-es shows us that when we share what we have, even if it doesn’t seem like that much, miracles can happen! Do not think that your gift is too small or insignificant! God blesses all the gifts we offer and makes them wondrous.
REFLEXION…
