If the ESS is only used for the annual assessment and develop-

ments interviews, check the evaluation by superiors or access the
trainings catalogue. This means that in the process of preparation
for the annual performance review the employee is offered a com-
plete IT support.
The leaders can also log in SAP’s portal - but unlike the employees
they use MSS. There they can find all information about their direct
or indirect subordinates, depending on the organizational structure
in SAP. During preparations for the annual evaluation interviews

ports, comparisons and statistics. Each human resources depart-
ment can accurately determine the contents of the evaluation,
which are not used for analytics, for reasons of confidentiality of
agreements between managers and employees.
On the basis of statistical analyses the current “health” of person-
nel in the enterprise is shown. This information is also used in the
design of other HR-related processes, such as education planning,
recruitment of new employees, etc.

Perfect integriration with SAP ERP system.
The SAP ERP system has a procurement module which supports all
functions of purchasing. In the process of procurement of goods
with the help of predefined master data a purchase requisition is
created which serves as the basis for creating the purchase order.
This purchase order is sent to the supplier who can then respond
to the offer. After negotiation with suppliers for the delivery terms
the contract is signed up. As a result the goods are purchased by
the company.
Use of e-Bidding applicationin the process of procurement
Based on the need for goods a purchase order is created for the
dummy supplier. Potential suppliers of materials and the quantities
needed are entered in the purchase order. There is also an option
to enter the expected maximum price. When the purchase order is
completed the content is transferred to the e-Bidding application.
This application automatically creates an online auction, which is
equipped with the duration of the auction and other necessary
data. All potential suppliers are sent a notice of auction via e-mail
in which the basic details, username and initial password to login to
the auction are included. Suppliers log in the online application of
e-Bidding where they submit their bid. During the auction they are
able to monitor where their offer is currently located based on the
selection criteria. Constantly, until the end of the auction, they have
the ability to change the conditions under which the goods are of-
fered. The auction is automatically closed when the estimated time
since the last bid passes. The organizer of the auction has the fol-
lowing options upon completion of the auction: the auction can be
marked as successful or rejects all offers as inadequate. This step
represents the formal conclusion of the auction. All suppliers who
have participated in the auction are informed of the result by email.
After successfully carrying out the auction, data is transferred into
the SAP ERP system where appropriate purchase order is created
with the last price offered. This order is sent to supplier by email.

e-Bidding is a standalone application. Its intuitive user interface
makes it user friendly, as it leads the user over the entire process
of organizing and running an online auction. The interface provides
a complete overview of the actions of suppliers. Interface used by
the suppliers allows easy entry of tenders and monitoring of the
current result of the auction.
Unifying the processof procurement of goods across the organization
With the integration of e-Bidding application with SAP ERP system
the process of procurement across the organization can be unified
