Week One – June 20-24 8:30-10:15 Incoming Kindergarten Art with Mrs. Slater Incoming kindergarteners come and join the fun becoming familiar with your new school, while creating beautiful works of art. Spend a week using different mediums of art. You will create projects that your parents will cherish forever. Cooking with Mrs. Gripp This summer we will be exploring things that you can “make and take” to eat with family and friends. Some things will be prepared in class to take home, like salsa and dill pickles. Other things will be prepared in class for the students to cook at home, like soup and cookies. Either way these recipes will be real crowd pleasers and easy recipes to follow that will surely impress. Legos with Ms. Vera Each day the class will be challenged to make magnificent creations for competitions against each other. There can be only one winner. We will create our own worlds where our creations will interact and participate in perilous adventures that not all will survive. Along the way we will learn how to build using basic Lego construction techniques. Then graduate to design your own incredible creations to populating Lego worlds during free play sessions. Lego worlds include Pirate, Castle, Space, City, Ocean, Super Hero and worlds of our own imagination. Each student will be given a boxed starter kit to begin their adventure and will be able to take it home. 10:30-12:15 Incoming Kindergarten Math and Language Arts with Mrs. Gripp In this fun and exciting class, incoming kindergarteners will work on number and letter recognition while they learn about farm animals. We’ll color, write, and tell stories, while we make new friends. Superheroes in Training with Mr. Jonathon Empower the superhero in you! Fly, swim, run, and learn what it takes to become one. Make capes, wristbands, and soar through class with your fellow heroes. Learn the basics and become all that you can be. Superheroes unite!!!

Sculpture with Mrs. Slater Sculpt with fun materials and create beautiful masterpieces. The projects will be teacher directed with the help of the child's imagination. Paper mache, plaster and clay will be the three mediums used. Grubbies should to be worn to class because we will be getting messy.

Looking to share a peaceful and joyful time in

prayer with your child this Lent?

All students and parents are invited to participate in an after school rosary on Mondays from 2:10-2:35 pm on March 14, and 21st in the church in the pews on the

south side in front of the tabernacle.

Questions? Contact Mimi Stolpe : ([email protected]) Tracy Luiso ([email protected]) or Julie Schneiders

([email protected])

Come to one or both! Do you have a special prayer intention to

offer your rosary for? You will be able to write

down your prayer intentions and place them in the

prayer jar before we begin.

Just bring a rosary and a willingness to join in. There will be a guide to make it

easy to follow along.
