Godly counsel, and partner with you to raise your children in a Christ

centered way.

WELCOME FRIENDS! All are asked to sign the attendance card and

place it in the plate during the offering. When Holy Communion is offered,

guests are asked to read through the statement on the inside cover of the

hymnal before receiving communion. If you require gluten free wafers,

please speak to the Pastor or an elder.

LIFE THOUGHTS…. Carrying a surprise pregnancy to term brings troubles. Safeguarding marital sexuality can detract from attractiveness. Enduring chronic pain sometimes interferes with social acceptance. Speaking truth in love may interrupt a lucrative career. Still, the Gospel life with Christ gives far more than it deprives. Peace in forgiveness, comfort from faith, joy in fellowship, hope of heaven – His words and ways never deny us these needs (Luke 10:42).

THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES is looking for individuals to help in the stripping and waxing of floors in the school. If you are interested in helping with this project, please contact the office at 524-4512, ext. 1. Persons will be compensated for their time.

NO QUILTING on Wednesday, July 24th. We will gather together again on Wednesday, August 14th, in cool Concordia Hall.

Second Call extended- Some of my family have informed me that I am not to go on vacation anymore. It seems during these times that I am extended Calls from other congregations. After deliberating my recent call. I have been extended another Call from St. Mark’s Lutheran Church and School in Steelville, Illinois. I ask you again to join with me in prayer to seek the Lord’s will in the consideration of the Calls. I will again strive to come to a timely decision for the benefit of both congregations. May His will be done! In Christ, Pastor Paul Crolius
