The editor received a message from Roger and he said that he is recovering well, we wish you a speedy recovery Roger. Neil Henderson spoke about Rotary Nomads including their Charter at Broken Hill at the Royal Flying Doctor Service. The Rotary Club of Nomads was established by Jindalee Club of Queensland and is an "e:" Club in district 9630. They meet on the internet at 8pm on Wednesday. RCE received a certificate of appreciation for their two PHF donations, other clubs responded as well. The Club received Charter status on Monday March 9 and has 29 members which is considered somewhat of a record for a club newly chartered. Steve Chandler conducted a quiz with an Irish Twist which was jointly won by two tables with those coming first at the wrong end receiving a bag of potatoes. The winners shared in Guinness, mint creams and mint crisp bars. Thanks Steve for a fun night. See photos for those that got into the spirit of the night in “Things Green”. Special thanks to Lino and Norm for their room decorating efforts. Charter of Rotary Nomads– More news: Mary Henderson became a Charter Member of this club on Monday 9th March when the formalities were held at the Boardroom of the Royal Flying Doctor Service at Broken Hill. There were 29 members admitted making it one of the larger clubs ever charted. Most are experienced Rotarians looking to keep up with their Rotary involvement as travelling takes up more of their life style. (Plenty of chiefs in this club!) The Publicity Officer was so efficient in spreading the word that congratulatory letters were received from PM Tony Abbott and the Premiers of all States and Territories except Vic and NSW. (NSW actually replied by email advising they could not issue an official congratulatory release because the government is now in caretaker mode prior to the State election. How’s that for bureaucracy!) Getting straight into Rotary mode the club ran morning breakfast BBQ’s in the caravan park and raised over $1600. That’s what I call hitting the ground running. Being an e-Club it meets each Wednesday evening via the internet using software called “Go to Meeting”. Next face to face Muster is scheduled for the Gympie Music Festival in August. The club is compiling a list of rural based projects that can utilise the roving “Rotary force” as members travel around. Birthdays: Wal Dibben, Graeme Wood, Maureen Mollica, Jennifer Lawrence, Shirley Kukk, and Dennis Kosnar (On The Night!) Anniversaries: Lino & Angelina Airo-Farulla

The Enforcer, don’t be fooled by his smile! This is the look he gives to members who owe money!!!

Looks like Neil had a run in with the Enforcer, look at the hair!

The good Doctor had to be content with the potatoes

The Enforcer with his gloves on, I warned you! Poor Alistair fell on his face in the car park lawn!

Neil looking respectable again with the hair in place after he paid up, Michael the Italian Stallion making his presence felt
