I wish to cordially invite you all to our opening of school year mass on Friday, September 28th at 10am. I look forward to this opportunity to meet you and hope you can attend. The mass will take place in the church. Your children will receive the best education when you and our dedicated teachers work as a team. It is our first and foremost priority to deliver this education in the classroom in the most efficient manner possible. In this regard, you may on occasions wish to meet with a teacher. Experience has proved that unplanned meetings at the classroom door are less beneficial than planned meetings. With this in mind, should you wish to meet with one of my colleagues or me, please feel free to make an appointment. If you would like your child to avail of insurance, please fill in the attached form and return by Monday, September 14 th . Please make sure all envelopes sent to school are clearly labelled with your child’s name and the amount of money inside each envelope. Swimming will commence for fourth class on Tuesday, September 11 th . I am delighted to see that there is a uniform in St. Patrick’s N.S. I would like to see this uniform adhered to as it gives the children a sense of identity and pride. It also takes pressure away from parents to have different branded clothes each day. In this regard, the uniform should not have any logos or additional stripes and remain plain navy in accordance with the school’s policy. After school activities will resume in the coming weeks. We will send out a schedule of activities and times once they are confirmed. Our Parents Association A.G.M. will take place on Monday, September 17 th at 7pm.
