ForewordSt Monica’s is a coeducational Catholic primary school. Established by the Good Samaritan Sisters in 1921, the school educates children in a faith-based, holistic education grounded in the values of St Benedict and the Good Samaritan Sisters. St Monica’s is part of Diocese of Toowoomba Catholic Schools where all students experience academic success in a distinctive Catholic community. We focus on providing a safe, inclusive learning environment which enables all students to achieve their best in all areas of school life - faith, academic, social, sporting and cultural. Our students are generously supported by staff and parents which creates a warm, unique and positive community. This is St Monica’s heritage, tradition and legacy. Our goal is that this culture will live on through this Strategic Plan.

St Monica’s staff, board and parents have contributed to the Strategic Plan. It builds on the considerable achievements of the past and looks forward, with hope to the continued fulfilment of the Good Samaritan vision for educating children to make an enduring difference in our society. We commend the St Monica’s 2020 - 2023 Strategic Plan to you. Mr Brendan McCormack Mr Luke Barrett Chair: St Monica’s Board Principal: St Monica’s School
