Liturgical meeting will be held on Monday, February 2 at 1:30 pm in the parish centre. The following committees are asked to

send a representative to the meeting: senior altar servers; altar linens; art & environment; bereavement; Eucharistic ministers;

Eucharistic ministers to shut-ins; lectors; music; RCIA; Religious Education; Sacristans; ushers; and greeters.

First Friday

First Friday devotions will be celebrated at 7pm at St. Michael’s. Mass

will be celebrated at 7pm followed by a period of Adoration of the

Blessed Sacrament. During the Adoration confessions will be heard,

and at approximately 8:20 pm Vespers will be sung concluding with

Benediction.

Renovation collection will be taken up following

Communion at all Masses this weekend.

Religious education news

Help is still needed for Monday evenings with the year 6, 7 & 8. The

gatherings are quite large and a second/third person to help would be

Planning has started for the St. Patrick’s Day Concert. Mark your

calendar for Sunday, March 15 at 7:00pm. To help us prepare,

donations for the basket can now be left at the Parish Office. Also

calling on our fudge makers for fudge to sell at the concert.

Hospice Miramichi are hosting their annual “A Taste of Choco-late” fundraising event at Rodd Miramichi on February 14, 2015 at 7 pm. This year’s entertainment will be Newfoundland’s own sing-er and songwriting icon Ron Hynes. Tickets are $30 which includes a selection of desserts. There will be an arm’s length auction as well as a 50/50 draw. Tickets can be purchased at Miramichi Meat, the Hospice Shoppe or by calling the Hospice Miramichi office at 773-7607.
