Join us as our Parish honors St. Joseph with a St. Joseph’s Altar Saturday, March 16, immediately after the 4:00 Mass: We will process the statue of St. Joseph, follow the Holy Family as they seek shelter in the Tuppa Tuppa Ceremony finally making our way to Vandegaer Hall where we will pray the Rosary in Italian and English
and the altar will be blessed. Sunday, March 17, immediately after the 9:00 Mass:
We will break the altar, feed the Holy Family & begin serving everyone! This is a celebration of life and answered prayer. The altar is open to all. Come and reconnect with your Italian heritage and, if you aren’t Italian, come and remember the faithfulness of a man who obeyed God when he didn’t understand everything, and remember a people who prayed and believed that St. Joseph would pray for them. See you there! We will serve food from the Altar on Sunday from 10:30 - 4:00pm .

Stroke Scan Plus will be at St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church on Saturday, April 6th to provide life-saving, wellness ultrasound screenings. It is im-portant to perform preventive maintenance for our-selves yearly. Do you have high blood pressure or high cholesterol, diabetes, or a family history of heart disease, stroke, abdominal aneurysm or internal cancers? If so, do not miss this opportunity for early detection of a possibly serious disease. These screenings are typically NOT performed at your annual check-up, and insurance companies may not pay for them unless you are symptomatic. Diagnostic versions of these screenings cost thou-sands of dollars in a hospital. Stroke Scan Plus will be offering them to you for $139 for all 7 combined ultrasound screenings (Stroke, AAA, AFIB & or-gans). Insurance is NOT necessary and appoint-ments are limited. Stroke Scan will be available at the church for you to register on March 30 & 31, 2019, or please call 1-866-935-7226 to schedule an appointment today for you or a loved one. The screenings will take place in Vandegaer Hall. Pre-vention is your key to quality health!

News from Mary’s House Just a few happy things to share with you! In the past 3 weeks, four young women have come directly to Mary’s House from Hope Medical Group because someone was there praying & prepared. What a spe-cial calling being a “sidewalk advocate” is!!! Since January, over 90 women have come in to talk with our peer counselors and nurses. It’s because you “pray, volunteer & donate” that their lives are changed. There is no peace more wonderful than the peace we enjoy when faith shows us God in all created things.
