Dear Friends in Christ,
Recently, our parish celebrated one of its patrons, Saint John Vianney. We had a beautiful Mass
and celebration afterward. I am so grateful to our Special Events Committee, led by Tammy Gatto and all
who helped to make it a beautiful day. The music was beautiful under the direction of Sarah Johnston,
Christine Davis for her weekly fidelity and it is always a joy to hear the hymn to Saint John Vianney sung by
Francesca Schiavo. Some of the mergings in the Diocese of Camden still struggle to find their way, but I am
so proud of our parish how more and more we are coming together while having the option to worship at
Saint Margaret Church or Saint John Vianney. We continue to use what was the rectory at Saint John
Vianney, now the Vianney Center, for youth activities, Alliance of the Two Hearts, diocesan meetings and as
a guest house when needed. Jim and Pat McGuinness do a fantastic job at beautifying Saint John Vianney at
Our Lady’s grotto. Our ladies who take care of the church, linens, decorating etc. continue to keep our little
church in Blackwood Terrace alive. These times are challenging on many levels: our country, our faith and
even financially, but Infant Jesus Parish continues to carry out what I call our basic mission through the
inspiration of both Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque and Saint John Vianney: “To make Jesus known and
loved everywhere.” Thank you for being such wonderful fellow disciples of Jesus Christ!
In the Infant Jesus,
Father Szolack

Bob at 848-0047 for more information. Our Lord is

ST. VINCENT de PAUL
We will be collecting school sup-
plies such as backpacks, note-
books, folders, pens, pencils, crayons etc.
throughout July and August for needy children in
our area. Every child likes to have new supplies to
start the new school year as it seems to make going
back to school just a little bit easier. All donations
can be left in the back of the church in the St. Vin-
cent DePaul bins. Thank you for your kindness and
generosity.
