Archdiocesan Marriage Mass — St Mary’s Cathedral Saturday, 10th August at 10am
All parishioners are warmly invited to attend this special Mass. A blessing will be bestowed on ALL married couples attending. Do you know a couple celebrating 25, 30, 40, 50, 60 or even 70 years in 2019? In addition, the Bishops would like to give these couples a special commemorative certificate as part of the celebration.

VERITAS NIGHT 2019—A FREE PRE-ACYF LOCAL EVENT
VERITAS NIGHT 2019 is a Catholic youth festival style event which will be held on the 9th August (Friday), 6pm at John XXIII College, Claremont. Last year over 900 young people attended the event from across Western Australia. This year,
the event will run for one night only as a momentum builder event for the Australian Catholic Youth Festival, with Archbishop Costelloe and Bishop Don in attendance. The night will include music, dance, food, prayer, keynote speaker and testimony by young people. For more information and to REGISTER, please visit cym.com.au
ANOINTING OF THE SICK
Please come and avail of this Sacrament of
healing on Friday, 2nd August. Mass will start
at 10am with the Anointing held during Mass.
This Sacrament can be received by all who suffer from any
serious illness or have grown frail due to age. Please pass the
word to anyone you know who could receive this Sacrament.
Please join us for a cup of tea after Mass.
LITTLE SISTERS OF THE POOR
The Little Sisters of the Poor who care for the Aged, will
be conducting an appeal for funds at the end of each
Mass next weekend, 3rd and 4th August 2019. They
would appreciate any assistance you can give them.

PERMANENT EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY TENANT ADVOCATE LAWYER, DAYDAWN
ADVOCACY CENTRE, PERTH Daydawn Advocacy Centre is a busy Archdiocesan agency that provides advocacy for Aboriginal people. The position of Tenant Advocate lawyer is a permanent full time until 31 June 2022 (thereafter permanent, 0.6 FTE, with possibility of full time dependent on funding). The role supports clients facing eviction and other issues related to rental properties. The successful applicant will also be responsible for assisting the Director and other staff and volunteers in the daily activities of the agency. This role would suit someone with a commitment to social justice and tenant rights, experience in advocacy and an understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act 1987 (WA).
