“Who we are and what we

have are God’s blessings to us. What we do with what we have and who we become of who we

are now is a way of saying thank you Lord”

-Father Tony

Respect Life Reflection

Christ Our Hope: In Every Season of Life

From the time we are knit together in our

mothers’ wombs until we take our final

breaths, each moment of our lives is a gift from

God. While every season of life brings its own

challenges and trials, each season also gives us

new opportunities to grow in our relationship

with God.

Today the gift of life is threatened in countless ways. Those who are most vul-

nerable, rather than receiving the protection they deserve, are all too often seen

as a burden and as expendable. As new attacks on human life continue to

emerge, we can be tempted to despair, but Christ instead offers us unfailing

hope.

“Hold fast to the hope

that lies before us. This

we have as an anchor of

the soul, sure and firm.”

Hebrews 6:18-19

WORLD MISSION SUNDAY- OCT 20 NEXT WEEKEND we will celebrate World Mission Sunday. Pope Francis invites the entire Church to support mission dioceses in Africa, Asia, the Pacific Islands, and parts of Latin America and Europe, where priests, religious and lay leaders serve the world’s most vulnerable communities. Please keep the Pope’s missions in your prayers and be generous in next week’s collection for the Society for the Propagation of the Faith.

“To fall in love is magical...to stay in love is a process...to love is a decision…” Fr. Tony

“In marriage, healing

and forgiveness is not an

option and luxury...it is a

necessity.”

Welcome Home!

Grace is what God gives to us. It includes our life, our family, our health, our relationship with Him and with others. Grace is God’s life with us. God is ‘graceful’. In a deeper sense, who we are and what we have are God’s blessings to us. Let us be a GRACE to each one. St. Lorenzo Ruiz Catholic Parish Community is revisiting our campaign to make us aware of our Sunday giving which is an expression of gratitude for everything God has graced us with. After reflecting on the graciousness of God towards us, we are being called to establish a covenant commitment to the weekly Sunday collection. Respond as the widow in Mark 12:43-45, who gave not just because there was a need, but because she felt a need to give back to God for all He had given to her.

‘GRACE Ambassadors’ will get in touch with you!
