Catholic Daughters Catholic Daughter's will meet for the final meeting of this year on Tuesday even-ing ,June 14 at 7:30 PM after the 7:00 PM Mass at Our Lady of Grace church. A light lunch will be served at the meeting. a financial donation or food items may be brought to be donated to the food pantry at the meeting. Everyone is encouraged to attend this meeting and bring a potential future Catholic Daugh-ter member along to the meeting. Altar Server Training Are your children in 4th grade or older? Have they completed First Reconcilia-tion, and First Communion? Are they interested in being Altar Servers? There will be an Altar Servers Training on Saturday, June 18th at 9:00AM! Please bring your children if they want to be an Altar Server, or to get a refresher course on how to serve. St. Leo’s Choir Are you interested in signing in the choir for weekend Masses? Please join us at 7PM on Wednesday evenings for practice. The Choir Director will also be teaching Music Theory classes to help teach people how to read, or play music. 5K Don’t forget to come to Oak Park on June 11th for the St. Leo’s / Little Flower 5K! Job Opening Are you looking for a part-time position where your culinary skills can be en-joyed by the bishop of the diocese and the priests of the Cathedral parish? The Diocese of Bismarck may have the perfect position for you! We are seeking a part-time cook (15-20 hours per week) to prepare a single noon meal on Mon-days, Wednesdays and Fridays and an evening meal on Tuesdays and Thurs-days for multiple priests and guests. Meal planning, meal preparation, serving of meals and proper kitchen maintenance are the primary responsibilities of the position. BRCS BRCSF Golf Scramble: The 27th annual Bishop Ryan Foundation Golf Scramble will be held Monday, June 20th, at 1:00pm at the Var-don Golf Club. Four-person teams made up of A, B, C, D and E players, ages 18 and older, are invited to golf in this select-ball, scramble-style tournament. (Single entrants will be as-signed to teams.) The tournament is limited to 144 golfers and prizes will be awarded for the top five teams. The golfer's entry fee is $150/player, which includes cart, brats on the course, and the annual BRCSF Steak Fry fol-lowing the scramble. Everyone is invited to join the golfers for the Steak Fry; tickets are $25/person. For more information, please call Jim at 838-3377.
Register Now for the 2016-17 School Year at Bishop Ryan! Registration is now open for students in Preschool through High School at Bishop Ryan Catholic School. Preschool openings include half-day classes (morning or afternoon) that meet two days, three days or five days each week, or a full-day, five-day class. (Preschool registration is age depend-ent and classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.) Students who will be entering Grades K-12 are also invited to register. Peace Garden Mass Bishop Kagan will be the main celebrant at the 56th Annual Knights of Columbus Peace Garden Field Mass on Sunday, July 10. Mass begins at noon. The Field Mass originated in 1960 and has been held on the second Sunday in July continuously for more than 50 years. People gather from two nations on the U.S.-Canadian border to promote good relationships and pray for peace for all nations. 6:45AM Mass Beginning Wednesday, June 1st we will no long-er have a 6:45AM morning mass for the remain-der of the summer.
