Profiles in Stewardship By Nathan Steingrebe

Sacrifice and zeal; Anthony Hollcraft sacrifices every Monday, Wednesday & Sunday, driving up from Turlock to participate in STJyouth, and to volunteer as a Peer Minister on the Militia Mariae Team. He is the oldest of seven children, Central Valley’s best trumpet player and runs track for Turlock High School. Anthony is very active at St. Joseph’s and a beautiful steward of the gifts God has given him. He generously offers his talents to the Lord leading music on piano or guitar and singing for our 2nd year confirmation group; he also contributes to the overall planning of the nights as well as facilitates a small group of 8th grade boys; and before STJyouth group you can catch him as a lector in the 5:30pm Mass. Anthony has a wonderful personality, always positive & smiling, willing to help at a moment’s notice. Jesus does not ask us to follow him sometime in the future, but in this very moment and Anthony has responded to God’s call with all his heart. He has applied to several universities as a music major and has applied to be a missionary with N.E.T. Ministries.
