REST IN PEACE Please remember in your prayers Mary Mart inez
MAY SHE REST IN PEACE.
SUNDAY, JULY 22, 2018
A good shepherd is highly trained and un-derstands the sheep. Jesús, who was sent by the Father, frequently returned to the Father in prayer for help in leading his sheep. As members and Stewards of his flock, we, too, need to return to Jesús for instruction and rejuvenation. He will lead us in his ways of peace and justice if we listen to him.
Sixteenth Sunday in
Ordinary Time
In today’s second reading, St. Paul reminds us that Christ is creating a new order: one that brings about rela-tionships based on love, peace, reconcilia-tion, hope and unity. As a Eucharistic com-munity we are stewards of Christ’s new creation. How are we promoting peace and reconciliation in our own lives? How are we showing love for our neighbors? What are we doing to encourage unity and understanding among those with whom we gather around the Lord’s Table each week?
We wish to offer our sympathy and a promise
of our prayers to Family and Friends
on the death of Fr. Thomas Sularz
MAY HE REST IN PEACE.
