Parish Coffees

There will be NO coffee today. We will be celebrating with our 1st Communion Class. Coffee’s will resume next week when our hosts will be, Nancy Weiskotten and Family. Thanks to last week’s hosts the Silent Auction Committee.

We are still in need of Mass Intentions for Daily Masses. This is a great way to remember loved ones, birthdays, anniversaries or wedding anniversaries. Please contact the Parish Office or stop in and schedule your Mass today. It is still only $10.00.

The Golf Committee is in need of some

younger blood, male or female,

to help organize the annual golf

tournament. We would like to

try and get more people

involved in this annual event. If

you (and any or your friends)

are interested contact Art

Bigsby at 315-399-3138 or the

Parish Office 315-655-3441 or

[email protected].

Community Garden

Interested in helping with the community

garden? Informational meetings will be held on

Thursday, May 18, at

7p. and Sunday, May

21, at 12noon. Both

will be in the Library.

We have tentatively

scheduled our

planting of the

garden on Saturday/Sunday, May 27/28. All are

welcome to come and help. We will also need

help selling veggies, as well as watering,

weeding and harvesting.

Garage sales get complicated and can cause too much work. Simplify your life and donate your clean usable items to the Haitian Committee for our Yard Sale. You will receive tax credit for your donations. This is our biggest annual fund raiser to support our twinning parish, St Yves and St. Joseph's School in Haiti. Giant Haiti Yard Sale will be held on July 29-

30. We will start collecting items in June. As

you begin your spring cleaning please be

mindful of the sale.

Seniors,

We would like to start planning for the

Baccalaureate Mass and brunch to celebrate

this awesome senior class.

It is our hope to receive 5 pictures of each of

you that can be used for the slide show at

Mass.

(One of them as a baby, first communion and/

or confirmation, with friends, with family and

from this year.)

It would be very helpful to have all pictures

in as soon as possible, so we can be sure

no one is left out.

I would also like you to think about how you

can participate during the Mass with readings,

singing, bringing up the gifts….

We will have a fun planning meeting on May

21 at 6p, at Caz Sports Bowl.

The date of the Mass is Sunday, June 18th

at the 11 Mass with a catered brunch

immediately following.

Please be sure to mark your calendars so St.

James can rejoice with you and your families.

BOSTON TRIP

The St. James

Youth Group is

planning a trip

to Boston this

summer.

your permission slip holds your place. Limit

30 students. If your child would like to

attend, but cost is a hardship, please contact

me privately.

We will ask all participants to help fundraise

in support of the trip and the cost of dinner for

Saturday and Sunday evening. Breakfast is

included. Students will need money for their

lunch and any shopping they wish to do.
