ST. ISIDORE the FARMER CATHOLIC CHURCH Growing Faith, Family and Friendship since 1961
Mission
We, the parish of St. Isidore the Farmer, are dedi-
cated to growing a life-long Catholic community.
Believing in the Risen Christ, we are empowered
by the Holy Spirit to celebrate the Eucharist, to be
nourished by the Word of God, and to serve the
needs of the local and worldwide community.

Stewardship: Today’s reading from Revelation offers a vision of the City of God, the new Jerusalem. “But,” the Bishops pasto-ral on stewardship reminds us, “that ‘life to come’ is in continui-ty with this present life through the human goods, the worthy human purposes, which people foster now.”
Vocation View: Those who love me will be true to my word. My Father will love them and we will come to them. How will I respond to that love? Am I being called to priesthood or reli-gious life? (John 14:23-29)

Totus Tuus is a Latin Phrase meaning “Totally Yours.” Its mission is to provide children and teens of the Archdiocese of Dubuque with a meaningful experience of our Catholic faith that fosters solid catechesis, sacramental engage-ment and authentic faith-filled role models.
Totus Tuus will be held July 7-12, 2019 at St. John the Baptist in Mt. Vernon and will replace Vacation Bible school at St. John’s. It is open to all children and youth in the Mt Vernon/Lisbon/Springville communities. There is a limitation of 80 children in grades 1-6 and no limitation is set for Junior High or High School.
Visit the St Isidore website for additional infor-mation and how to register for this program.
The Totus Tuus Team: Linda Hansmeier, DFF, Charlene Vig, YM, Michele Loehr, CRE, St. Isi-dore, Conni Swart, and Sarah Covington.
