The Story Of Virgin Fatima

On May 13, 1917, when they went to the mountains, the children

did not know the confusion in which the world was. They had not

heard the voice of Pope Benedict XV who had addressed the

Mother of humanity, asking Mary to look at the world sobbing, to

sympathize with the cries of innocent children, and the anguished

lamentations of Mothers and wives. However, this was the day

when the Mother of God had decided to answer the Holy Father's

appeal.

At noon the children were surprised by a sudden flash of light-

ning. Looking up they saw no storm signal; the sky had never

been so beautiful, nor the valley so peaceful. Again the lightning

came and fearing that a sudden storm surprised them, they ran in

the direction of the small cave. As they turned, they were sur-

prised to see a Beautiful Lady standing over one of the small oak

trees nearby. "Do not fear," said the Beautiful Lady. Without fear

Lucia asked him: "Where are you from?" "I come from heaven."

"From the sky!" Lucia said ... and asked, "I'll go to heaven?"

"Yes". And thinking of his companions, he added: "And Jacinta,

will you go too?" "Yes" - "And Francis, will he also go to heav-

en?" Francisco, hearing his name, turned and saw the girls look-

ing at the little tree, and seeing nothing, shouted; "give him a

stone to see if he goes!" "Why is it that Francis does not see it?"

Lucia asked the Lady. Then Our Lady answered the words that

we must all take very seriously: "Tell Francis to say the Rosary

and he will see me." Immediately Francis took his accounts and

began to pray. Before finishing, his eyes opened and he could see

the vision that changed him in one of the greatest apostles of the

prayer of these times. Little Francis, who like many of us thought

that prayers were not important, never forgot the words of Our

Lady. He immediately became an inspiration to others.

La Historia del a Virgen de Fatima

El trece de Mayo de 1917, cuando fueron a la serra, los niños no

sabían la confusión en que el mundo se encontraba. No habían

oido la voz del Papa Benedicto XV que se había dirigido a la Ma-

dre de la humanidad, pidiéndole a María que mirase al mundo

sollozando, que simpatizara con los llantos de los niños inocentes,

y los lamentos angustiosos de las Madres y las esposas. Sin

embargo, este era el día en que la Madre de Dios había decidido

contestar la súplica del Santo Padre.

Al mediodía los niños fueron sorprendidos por un rayo repentino

de un relámpago. Mirando hacia arriba no vieron señal de tormen-

ta; el cielo nunca había estado tan bello, ni el valle tan pacífico.

Otra vez vino el rayo y temiendo que una tormenta repentina los

sorprendiera, corrieron en dirección de la pequeña cueva. Al

volverse, se sorprendieron al ver una Bella Dama parada sobre

uno de los pequeños robles cercanos. "No Teman", Dijo la Bella

Dama. Sin miedo Lucía le preguntó: "De donde viene Usted?" --

"Vengo del cielo." "Del cielo!" dijo Lucía...y preguntó: "Iré al

cielo?" "Sí". Y pensando en sus compañeros añadió: "Y Jacinta,

irá también?" "Sí" -- "Y Francisco, irá también al cielo?" Francis-

co, oyendo su nombre, se volvió y vió a las niñas mirando hacia

el arbolito, y no viendo nada, gritó; "tírale una piedra a ver si se

vá!" "Porqué es que Francisco no la vé?" Lucía preguntó a la Da-

ma. Entonces Nuestra Señora contestó las palabras que todos

debemos tomar muy en serio: "Dile a Francisco que diga el

Rosario y me verá." Inmediatamente Francisco tomó sus cuentas

y comenzó a rezar. Antes de terminar, sus ojos se abrieron y pudo

ver la visión que lo cambió en uno de los más grandes apóstoles

de la oración de estos tiempos. El pequeño Francisco que como

muchos de nosotros pensaba que las oraciones no eran

importantes, nunca olvidó las palabras de Nuestra Señora. Ense-

guida se convirtió en una inspiración para los demás.

Tour de la Estatua del Corazón Inmaculado Celebra el 100 Aniversario de Nuestra Señora de Fátima

La estatua del Corazón Inmaculado de Nuestra Señora de Fátima fue diseñada

como apareció en 1929 a Sor Lucia en Tuy, España. Fue durante esta aparición

que Nuestra Señora pidió la consagración de Rusia a su Inmaculado Corazón.

Esta estatua fue bendecida por el Papa Francisco el 23 de octubre de 2013, 10

días después de su consagración del mundo a Nuestra Señora de Fátima el 13

de octubre. Fue presentado formalmente en la Marcha 2014 por la Vida en Washington, D.C., y estuvo presente

poco después en Oregon en la consagración de la Arquidiócesis de Portland el 28 de junio de 2014, por el

Arzobispo Alexander Sample.

El domingo 15 de octubre de 2017, la estatua del Corazón Inmaculado de Nuestra Señora de Fátima estará en la

The Immaculate Heart of Mary Statue Tour Celebrate the 100 Year Anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima

The Immaculate Heart of Our Lady of Fatima statue was designed as she appeared in 1929 to Sr. Lucia in Tuy,

Spain. It was during this apparition that Our Lady asked for the consecration of Russia to her Immaculate Heart.

This statue was blessed by Pope Francis on October 23, 2013, 10 days after his consecration of the world to Our

Lady of Fatima on October 13th. It was formally introduced at the 2014 March for Life in Washington, D.C., and

was present soon after in Oregon at the consecration of the Archdiocese of Portland on June 28th, 2014, by

Archbishop Alexander Sample.

On Sunday October 15th, 2017, the Immaculate Heart of Our Lady of Fatima statue will be at St. Elizabeth Ann

Seton Church from 7:30AM – 6:00PM. All are invited and encouraged to come see this beautiful Statue of the

Immaculate Heart of Our Lady of Fatima and to learn Our Lady's message of Peace and Hope.
