Prayer for Healing Lord, look upon me with eyes of mercy,
may your healing hand rest upon me, may your life giving powers flow
into every cell of my body and into the depths of my soul,
cleansing, purifying, restoring me to wholeness and strength
for service in your Kingdom. Amen.
When Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went out to meet him, but Mary stayed at home. "Lord", Martha said to Jesus, "if you had been here, my brother would not have died. But I know that even now God will give you whatever you ask." Jesus said to her, "Your brother will rise again." Martha answered, "I know he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day." Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and who-ever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?" "Yes, Lord", she told him, "I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who was to come into the world." - (John 11:20-27, New International Version)

Heavenly Father, You have mercifully allowed human beings to have
periods of rest and recuperation on our long journey through life.
This is my extended period of rest this year--- my vacation from the usual cares of everyday life
and my time to be renewed--- physically, mentally, and spiritually.
Grant that this vacation will bring me a new awareness of the good things in life,
increased knowledge of your
wondrously versatile creativity, delightful travel through fascinating places, and genuine leisure facilitating revitalization.
Let me be ever mindful of You and my true goals in life.
And bring me back to carry out my daily tasks with cheerfulness and goodwill,
and to the best of my strength and ability. Amen.

Sanctuary Update
Praised be Jesus Christ!
Fernando Giron, the artist who has been responsible for completing several commissions of sacred art for our church, has informed us that the latest commission of the angel and shell plaques, and the complementary molding, will be completed by the end of August. We are now in the process of weighing different shipping options. We expect to receive the pieces in September.
Mr. Giron will travel from Mexico to our parish to oversee the installation which we hope to be completed by the end of November.
While the artist, Fernando Giron, is here, there will be an opportunity to meet him and discuss potential personal commissions for those interested.
Stay tuned for more details! And wishing you and your families every grace and blessing throughout the summer.
In Christ, Fr. McGuire
Renovación del Santuario
Alabado sea Jesucristo!
