Dear Parish Family, members, a endees, guest and seekers, Merry Christmas! Be sure to take me during the “Tradi onal 12 Days of Christmas” to reflect on the MAIN GIFT, we received on Christmas: “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life.” Jn. 3:16 I am excited that as a Parish Family, we are going to be reading the ENTIRE NEW TESTAMENT in 100 Days, beginning on Ash Wednesday!!! To get ready, we need to be in shape. In our First Busy Parish Retreat on: PRAY, we discovered how important a daily Prayer me was to Jesus. We then learned the importance of having a daily Prayer

me in our own lives for at least 10 minutes a day. I am not not talking about just saying prayers, but having a special me for being in a one on one CONVERSATION with God; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. In the book we have been reading as a Parish; The Four Signs of a Dynamic Catholic, by Ma hew Kelly, he gives us a rou ne to be used during our 10 minutes. In a special handout, I described the simple rou ne, I have been using since 1971. Developing the First HABIT of Inten onal Discipleship; PRAY, is cri cal to learning the other Four Habits of Study, Serve, Community and Evangeliza on. If you don’t currently have a Habit of a daily Prayer Time of at least 10 minutes or more, I HIGH-LY recommend, that you start now with the Habit of Pray, BEFORE adding the next Habit of Study. IF YOU DON’T HAVE THE BOOK WE ARE USING, THEY ARE AVAILA-BLE AT THE WELCOME CENTER AT NO CHARGE!!! Once, you have commi ed yourself to the First Habit, you are ready to add the Sec-ond Habit: Study. PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ CHAPTER 3 IN OUR BOOK, TO SEE HOW IMPORTANT STUDY IS TO BEING A DYNAMIC CATHOLIC. In April 2016, we began developing a Site Plan for the next 5 years. Along the way we discovered that we needed two phases; one for immediate needs: Phase I and the other for our long term dreams: Phase II. In the bulle n you will discover the architects rendering of Phase I and we already have the money for the projects! We hope to have Phase I completed by Septem-ber, 2018. Marana tha Fr. Queridos Feligreses y Visitantes, ¡Feliz Navidad! Asegúrese de tomarse el empo durante “Los Doce Días Tradicionales De Navidad” para reflexionar en el REGALO PRINCIPAL que recibimos en Navidad: “Tanto amó Dios al mundo que le dio a su Hijo único, para que todo el que crea en El no pe-rezca, sino que tenga la vida eterna”. Jn 3:16 Estoy de lo más excitado de que siendo una Parroquia Familiar, leeremos el “NUEVO TESTAMENTO COMPLETO” en 100 días, Empezando “¡El Miércoles de Ceniza”! En nuestro Primer Re ro Parroquial Ocupado sobre: “EL REZAR”, descubrimos lo importante que era Rezar diariamente para nuestro Señor Jesús. También aprendi-mos lo importante que era tener un empo de oración en nuestras propias vidas de por lo menos 10 minutos diarios. No hablo tan solo de decir oraciones, sino un

empo especial de CONVERSACIÓN uno a uno con Dios, Padre, Hijo y Espíritu San-to. En el libro que hemos estado leyendo como Parroquia; Las Cuatro Señales de un Católico Dinámico, por Mathew Kelly, nos da una ru na que ha de usarse durante nuestros 10 minutos. En un comunicado especial, yo describo la simple ru na, que he estado usando desde 1971. Desarrollando el primer HABITO de Discipulado Intencional; ORAR, es crí co para el aprendizaje de los otros Hábitos de Estudio, Servicio, Comunidad y Evangelización. Si no ene actualmente un hábito de Tiempo de Oración Co diano de por lo menos diez minutos o más, le recomiendo de una forma EXTREMA, que empiece ahora mismo con el Hábito de la Oración, ANTES de añadir el próximo Hábito de Estudio. SI NO TIENE EL LIBRO QUE ESTAMOS USANDO, LO TENEMOS A SU DISPOSICIÓN EN EL “CENTRO DE BIENVENIDA” ¡SIN NINGÚN CARGO PARA USTED! Una vez que se ha comprome do al Primer Hábito, estará listo para el Segundo Hábito: Estudio. POR FAVOR TOME SU TIEMPO PARA LEER EL CAPITULO TRES DE NUESTRO LIBRO, PARA QUE VEA LO IMPORTANTE QUE ES EL ESTUDIO PARA UN CATÓLICO DINAMICO. En abril del 2016, empezamos a desarrollar una planificación para los próximos 5 años. RETREAT & MISSION MINISTRY: A YEAR IN REVIEW Un año de repaso de nuestro Ministerio de Re ros y Misiones

Wow, what an amazing year we have had. Saint Clement Retreat & Mission Team had the opportunity to fulfill three local missions. It is such a blessing to be able to work with the youth of our parish and their families to be able to give to those who need our help. Through this ministry we have been able to clean the yard of an elder parishioner, clean the yard and paint the porch of another parishioner and with the help of over thirty volunteers and the dona on of paint & primer we were able to paint another parishioners mobile home.

Wow, que año tan maravilloso hemos tenido. El Equipo de Re ro y Misiones tuvo la oportunidad de cumplir tres misiones locales. Es una gran bendición poder tra-bajar con los jóvenes de nuestra parroquia y sus familias para poder ayudar a quienes necesitan nuestra ayuda. A través de este ministerio, hemos podido lim-piar el pa o de un feligrés anciano, limpiar el pa o y pintar el porche de otro feli-grés y con la ayuda de más de treinta voluntarios y la donación de pintura y car -lla, pudimos pintar otra casa móvil de otro feligrés.

Since star ng our Migrant Ministry this past October, I am delighted to say that we have helped more than 50 families in the course of 2 months. Our amazing volunteers, including RCMA workers, have helped our families re-ceive the a en on and assistance they need with warm welcomes and help-ing hands. A big thank you to our brothers and sisters from St. Brendan and St. Lawrence for bringing joy to our families this Christmas season. What is Li le People’s Ministry? Little People’s Ministry (LPM) is an ex-perience that provide a praying, singing and learning environment about Jesus and His Church and it is for 1 and 2 year old children. LPM is an environ-ment where children can “Pray Not Play” allowing parents the opportunity to fully participate in the Mass. It is offered during the 10:30 am Mass on Sundays and it’s completely FREE (space is limited). Children are always welcome in Mass, but sometimes cir-cumstances occur where childminding may be helpful to parents attending Mass. Our goal is to lead the child in prayer, so parents can pray as a com-munity.

Ellos estarán en un ambiente donde puedan “Orar No Jugar”, de manera que los padres, que lo deseen, puedan tranquilamente par-

Se ofrecerá durante la misa de las 8:30am GRATIS; los niños siempre se-rán bienvenidos a la misa, pero en algu-nas circunstancias es bueno ayudar a los padres a asis r a la misa con tran-quilidad. Nuestro obje vo es guiar al niño en la oración, de manera que los padres puedan orar en comunidad.

The last three years have been a blessing for the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. The children are amazing and so open

to exploring and discovering their Cath-olic faith. The Catechist are working with 3 - 6 year old’s in Atrium Level 1. The children have been introduced to many of the Parables and Infant Narra-

ves. The 5—6 year old children have made a connec on between the Good Shepherd and Jesus, they are beginning to ques on if “we” are the sheep in the sheep fold. Another of their favorite parables is “The Precious Pearl”.

The reason the man sold all his other pearls to buy the one special pearl is that the Precious Pearl is the one God sent —Jacob 5yrs old, like Jesus is who God sent for us Macy 5yrs old.

les. Los niños de 5-6 años han estable-cido una conexión entre el Buen Pastor y Jesús, están comenzando a cues onar si "nosotros" somos las ovejas en el re-dil de las ovejas. Otra de sus parábolas favoritas es "La Perla Preciosa".

La razón por la que el hombre vendió todas sus otras perlas para comprar una perla especial es que la Perla Preciosa es la que Dios envió-Jacob 5 años de edad, como Jesús es a quien Dios envió por nosotros-Macy 5 años de edad .

Happy Advent and Merry Christ-mas! As Christmas approaches, I want to take this me to wish eve-ryone a Merry Christmas and a Hap-py New Year! Thank you Parish fam-ilies of St. Clement for your sup-port. The dona ons, me you spared, and the helping hand you con nue giving to our Youth Ministry, helps make everything possible. We pray in turn that you’re be blessed by the loving hand of God. St. Clement Youth Ministry's mission is to help respond to the social and spiritual needs of our parish and community teens by providing fun programs, ac vi es, and events that will lead teenagers to a rela on-ship with God through Jesus Christ and His Church. Here are some of our highlights! We a end the Steubenville Youth Conference in Orlando in the summer. Marched with our brother and sister in Christ in the March for Life in St. Augus-

ne. Our All Saints Dance is a fun fill event for our youth and their families. Brown Bag project is put together by the Youth to feed 150 families in our com-munity. In Christmas our youth put together a small gi to give out to our fami-lies, and this year’s gi is going to be extra special! Once again, thank you for your support!

Asis mos a la Conferencia de Jóvenes de Steubenville en Orlando en el verano. Marchó con nuestro hermano y hermana en Cristo en la Marcha por la Vida en San Agus n. The Retreat & Mission Ministry has been busy this year. The Retreat team recently facilitated its first, two day 2nd year Confirma on Retreat and the first Middle School Retreat. Each year we will con nue to add re-treats. In 2017, we held a First Reconcilia on Retreat, First Communion Retreat, Middle School Retreat, 1st year and 2nd year Confirma on Retreats.

In 2018, the Retreat & Mission Ministry will host our first transi on retreat for 5th graders who will be entering into middle school and we will hold our first off property retreat.

This spring we will take a group of Middle School stu-dents to the Steubenville Middle School Day Rally.
