St. Claire HealthCare Honors Bausch for 39 Years of Dedicated ServiceGreg J. Bausch, Pharm D, received his Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of Kentucky in 1995. Bausch has been in management for over 38 years at St. Claire HealthCare. He has received the following awards and recognitions: Kentucky Institute of Medicine-Member, American College of Healthcare Executives Member, Kentucky Society of Health-System Pharmacist-Fellow and Kentucky Rural Health Association-Distinguished Service Award.

SCH colleagues and friends joined Bausch in celebration during his retirement reception, Wednesday, July 18. Best of Luck Greg, SCH will miss you!

Director of Surgical Services Riki Watts, MSN, RN, NE-BC, CNOR, recently presented at the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) Bluegrass - Central Kentucky chapter meeting. Her presentation, “How to Stop Smoking in Your OR,” presented information about the elimination of surgical smoke and the AORN Go Clear Award. St. Claire HealthCare was the only facility in Kentucky to receive the Gold Award in 2018.

Watts was also selected as an official speaker for the 2019 OR Business Management Conference, the leading educational conference for operating room business managers, directors and perioperative professionals. Her presentation, "Crew Resource Management for Your Perioperative Team," will focus on improving team communication in an effort to enhance the culture of patient safety.

*All golfers will have a chance to win prizes, including a new car, if they make a hole-in-one during their round.

The outing is a shotgun scramble with teams of up to four people using a bestball format. There will be morning and afternoon flights, with two divisions in each flight. Awards will be given to the 1st and 2nd place teams in each division.
