Prayer before mass Come, Holy Spirit, quiet my heart and my head, as I gather

with my family, friends and neighbors to celebrate Mass. Quiet the thoughts and distractions that will keep me from worship. Open my mouth in prayer and song. Open my ears to hear

God’s word. Open my eyes to the mystery of the Eucharist. Open my heart to receive Jesus with love. May I go forth strengthened to take the Mass into my life this week. In a special way, we pray for our twinning parish, St. Mary’s in

Uxbridge. Amen.

“Who are you following?" In the chapter 11 of Genesis, we read about the Tower of Babel. Because of arrogant sinfulness, mankind was

dispersed across the land and confused by many languages. Their rebellion prevented them from working together for evil selfishness. Today we hear of the Holy Spirit, "like a strong driving wind," filling the hearts of a new

group of men - the disciples. These men, who were speaking their native languages, could suddenly understand each other as though they were speaking one language. This same Holy Spirit kindles a fire in the hearts of

stewards and drives us into cooperation with God's plan to renew the face of the earth! It is in our parishes today, that the Holy Spirit unites diversity to become one Body in Christ Jesus!

Vacation Bible School

Thank you to everyone that came out and helped support our Fr. Misgivings

comedy show! We raised $3,742.00 towards upgrades to the gym!! A special Thank You to Fr. Jonathan’s family for

their hard work and generosity and to the youth that helped set up, serve and clean!

Father of love and power, it is your will to establish everything in Christ and to draw us into his all-embracing

love. Guide these candidates as they begin their preparation for

Confirmation. Strengthen them in their baptismal promises, build them into the kingdom of your Son, and seal them

with the Spirit of your love. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

We wish all of our Confirmation Candidates the best as they prepare for the Sacrament of Confirmation this Sunday

at 3pm at the Cathedral of St. Paul.
