2017 Charity and Development Appeal
Let us rediscover these corporal works of mercy: to feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, clothe the naked, welcome the stranger, heal the sick, visit the imprisoned, and bury the dead. And let us not forget the spiritual works of mercy: to counsel the doubtful, instruct the ignorant, admonish sinners, comfort the afflicted, forgive offenses, bear patiently those who do us ill, and pray for the living and the dead.” –Pope Francis
The annual Charity and Development Appeal plays an important role in supporting and nurturing the faith of all those in our Diocese. The CDA is love and faith in action. A gift of $120 or $12 per month can help feed a family of 4 for a week and provide an expectant mother a first look at her baby through an ultrasound. The impact of your gift can reach more people through CDA. Help support the more than 70 programs and organizations across the Diocese. With your gift to the CDA, you heed the Pope’s call to be an instrument of God’s mercy. More information can be found at dphx.org/cda.
Thank you for your support.

Come join us for this beautiful liturgy which will fulfill your Easter Duty obligation.
“Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me” (Mt.25:40). Today, we are reminded that Jesus identified himself with our poorest brothers and sisters. The Catholic Relief Services Collection serves Jesus in the victims of human trafficking, those who suffer from unjust laws, and those who need pastoral care and humanitarian assistance across the globe. Though support today’s collection, you help Jesus in disguise. Please be generous..

Men, are you interested in learning more about the Sacraments? Come to "That Man Is You" this Spring for a new video series: "The Bible and the Sacraments." The Bible and the Sacraments looks at each sacrament individually, seeking to understand where they come from, what they mean, and why they are so important and foundational to our faith. Finding their institution in Christ and their origin in salvation history; they are God’s gift of life to His children. Hope to see you Friday mornings. Kent Campbell
Monthly Padre Pio Mass at 7pm Monday, April 3, 2016 in church.
Many of our long time parishioners who have been on the Prayer Line taking prayer quests are no longer able to serve in this ministry. We thank them for their many years of service and prayers.
Anyone interested in serving in this important ministry, please contact the parish office. Computer or phone is all that is needed.
