like to help in any way should call Bonnie at the parish office (217) 222-5996.

The Assumption is a Holy Day of Obligation. Masses will be at 4pm on Tuesday, August 14, and

brates the entry of Mary into Heaven, protected and preserved from the effects of sin and the

decay of death, where she intercedes on behalf of the Church through her son, our Lord Jesus.

GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk along side of you through one of

life’s most difficult experiences–the loss of a loved one. Built around a 13-week video curriculum,

GriefShare support groups meet weekly to help you face the challenges of grief and move from

mourning into joy. Weekly meetings will take place on Thursdays at 6:30 pm in the parish hall.

Parish and School Keys: The parish and school

office frequently ‘loan’ out keys to the buildings

for events that take place on our grounds. Nor-

mal procedure is that these keys are signed

out of the office, but sometimes this doesn’t always hap-

pen. Besides the security risk and the eventual, expen-

sive need to re-key if we cannot account for our keys, we

are presently without extra keys to loan out in the parish

office. If you are holding one of those keys, please return

it in the collection, in the locked mailbox for the rectory,

or at the parish office.
