WELCOME TO WORSHIP
We pray you enjoy the sights, food, family, and gifts of this season. They’re gifts from God. But there’s more, infinitely more, to enjoy. The Baby in the manger grew up to be, as Isaiah the prophet described him, The Suffering Servant. His suffering isn’t incongruous with Christmas. His suffering makes Christmas deeper, more meaningful, and longer lasting. May God bless you with such a celebration tonight and every day.
DEAR GUESTS If this is your first time with us, we’re glad you are here! Please stop at the Welcome Center for a gift just for you. Children’s worship bags are also available in the atrium for each child (up to age 8) to take and keep.
If you have any needs or questions, let us try to help. Ask an usher or greeter or the person next to you . . . even if he or she is 6 feet away! Restrooms are located outside the gym to the right, down the education wing, and to the left just past the atrium.

If the Lord has given you children to raise for him, we're glad you brought them with you! If a child becomes restless, a moment or two alone with Mom or Dad might be all that's necessary. If you’d like a private nursing room, there is one with a changing table located outside the sanctuary. There are also changing tables in all restrooms. If you need assistance, feel free to ask an usher.

Nurture
For adults St. Andrew is a church of Growth Groups. Growth Groups gather weekly to grow in their knowledge of God’s Word and in their relationship with their Savior and their Christian brothers and sisters. Many St. Andrew members speak about their Growth Group as a highlight of their week. Some Growth Groups meet at church at 9:30 AM on Sundays. Other groups (during non-COVID times) meet in homes and restaurants. Recently our Growth Groups have primarily met online. Growth Groups might stay together for several years or they might stay together for one semester and then people are off for a new experience with new people. Sign-ups begin January 3 for the spring semester which will run January 31 – May 2. During the Growth Group sign-up period, Grow in Grace meets Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM. This is a whole church Bible study. Triplets are 3-person Growth Groups that some prefer for the smaller setting and the flexibility for scheduling. Triplet brochures are in the atrium.
Impact is a St. Andrew podcast ministry beginning with the new year. This is also an opportunity for you to grow in your faith while increasing your understanding of Scripture. Impact features interviews with Bible teachers from across the WELS. Impact will be available at st-andrew-online.org starting January 4.
For teens FUEL is for St. Andrew high school students. FUEL is an acronym for what we do: have Fun, Use our gifts to serve, Encourage each other, Learn from the Scriptures. Currently FUEL is meeting online at 7:00 on Sunday nights. In-person FUEL will be returning, and God-willing that return will be soon.
For children Plugged into Jesus (think Sunday School) is for Pre-K3 – grade 8. Currently we are using at-home kits and videos to teach our children about the love of Jesus. Contact Jane Dew ([email protected]) to get a kit for your child.
Musikgarten typically meets on Sunday mornings at 9:30. However, right now there are Musikgarten videos on our St. Andrew website for children to watch at home. This ministry is for children up to 3 years and their parents. Children develop a deep love for music and the ability to express it while learning about the love of Jesus.
God willing, in-person Science Camp will be held July 19 – 23.

Service/Outreach First Group
Looking to learn more about St. Andrew, or seeking to learn more about Jesus? First Group is a great place to start. First Group follows our Growth Group schedule and runs about 10 weeks. In this study, we walk through God’s story and study together as disciples of Jesus to see what he has to say about himself and how his Word impacts our daily lives. We also explore what it means to be a church. For those seeking membership at St. Andrew, this is the first step. We have a new First Group starting in January. The Love of Christ Jesus cared about people’s spiritual and physical needs. So do we. The Love of Christ (TLC) is our ministry to care for people after an accident or an illness or just when life gets hard. A simple call to St. Andrew starts the process.
Monthly Mission Partner Each month, people of St. Andrew pray for and gather an offering for a ministry partner outside of our congregation. For December, that ministry partner is Costa Maya Ministries. Costa Maya Ministries is based out of Mahahual, Mexico, 3.5 hours south of Cancun, and services the remote coastal towns in the region. Many of those served by Costa Maya Ministries are the service workers in the resort and cruise ship ports. For more information, go to costamayaministries.org.
Westside Christian School WCS registration for the 2020-21 school year begins in January. If you have a friend who might be interested in Christian education, spread the word about our ministry. We are part of the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program, which offers vouchers to families of 4K – 8th grade students who qualify so they can attend tuition free. We also offer the Special Needs Scholarship Program, which offers students with a disability to receive a scholarship to attend our school.
