In Summary
• Storytelling is a pivotal part of St Albans’s history • St Albans was the first main coaching stop out of London and gateway to the North – and therefore a major hub of tales, gossip and storytelling • We would like to reflect this heritage by using our many inns and pubs as central venues in the first St Albans Literary Festival • The local newspaper, the Herts Advertiser, is a major supporter of this Festival and will be giving it regular coverage • The St Albans Literary Festival would very much like to talk to anyone interested in becoming a headline sponsor of this first festival
