New Readers Required

If you would like to become a member of the group of readers at weekend Masses in our Parish, please complete the application form placed on your seat. The requirement is that you read at one Mass on one Saturday or Sunday per month. Training will be provided. This is an important service by the laity in helping to bring the good news of the Gospel to the Parish.

Please hand the completed form into the Sacristy or Parish office. Thank You.

Refugee Response: As we are all aware, the unprecedented refugee and migrant crisis currently unfolding requires a humanitarian and co-ordinated response. Crosscare is hosting a meeting on Thursday 22nd

October at 7.30pm in Holy Cross Diocesan Centre, Clonliffe if you or anyone in your parish would like to attend. At this meeting, the Irish Red Cross will provide an update on the current situation. Crosscare would

also like to share ideas on possible supports that can be offered and how we can plan our collective response. We look forwarding to welcoming you.

From Adversity to Hope, to Action : In this month of the Missions, the Novena Mass will focus on Matt Talbot’s own love for the missions. In the midst of his own struggles, the hope that sustained him

encouraged him to reach out to others. The Novena Mass will be led by the Colomban Missionaries with Filipino Choir from Ballymun Parish in attendance. All are welcome. Supervised Car Parking.

Project Messiah 2015: Join us for the Third Year

in celebrating the beginning of Year of Mercy

and Advent in Whitefriar St. Church on Saturday,

G.F. Handel’s masterpiece. Rehearsals take

A Week of Guided Prayer is a way of making a retreat in the midst of ordinary daily living, an opportunity for the people to experience the Gospel speaking to and in their own lives and a means of spiritual nourishment.
