01[19:44] After a grueling trek through the

desert, you finally arrive at your destination,

Fuushamorimura, the city of steel windmills and the power

center for most of northern Wind Country.

01[19:44] It is a city of lights and stars, and

none shine brighter than Monobikei Mitsuke. Your duty is to

protect her until the contract is over from the sinister

forces that would take her shining glory for their own

gains.

01[19:44] In her hotel room you have a brief

respite to plan and prepare for the day coming and the

concert tomorrow night.

01[19:44] Players! Your actions!?

[19:45] Yasu is sitting in a corner, lookingover his weaponry for any possible defects. Afterwards he

wil begin to sharpen his kodachi.

01[19:46] It might be wise to discuss strategy

for protecting her, crowd control, possible traps for the

hotel suite, etc.

01[19:46] * Tanshin_Yori consults Sasori, hoping for some

useful advice.

01[19:47] * ~ShadowDM : -> SASORI: "Mmmm, in a mission like

this, the suite would be best used as our home base, as

such, you should first secure all entrances and exits..

perhaps going so far as to set up traps or alarms."

[19:48] "I can set traps, but I don't haveenough kunai for more than one, if anyone has any extra...

Also, before we set traps we need to know what innocent

people might be likely to be passing where.

01[19:50] * Tanshin_Yori hands Yasu five kunai. "I don't

use them much anyway. As for civilians... we'll just have

to make sure they don't enter the room. We can station

someone outside the door to turn them away."

01[19:50] * ~ShadowDM : -> SASORI: "Well, it might be

smarter to trap entrances normal people wouldn't use...

like windows..."

[19:51] "... sensei has a point."

[19:51] "Yes, but they might be expecting that,

shinobi always try to do the unexpected.

01[19:51] * Hideki__Junichi ponders, "What about a several

layered defense/counter attack? It's not like they will

magically appear next to us... right?"

[19:51] "Unless we're expecting them to do

something unexpected. Then they'll do what we don't expect

by doing exactly what we expect them to do."

that here as a last line of defense". Tanaka turned

Mono,"Are there any serious stalkers we might have to worry

about watching out for?"

certain ways to reach us"

01[19:52] * ~ShadowDM : -> Monobikei-himi: *shrug* "Not

that I know of, but like I've said, there's a rumor ninja

were hired."

[19:53] "Hmm, if they do show, will we be

wanting to take them alive, or not? Alive makes things,

difficult."

01[19:54] * ~ShadowDM : -> SASORI: "Enemy ninjas' lives are

forfeit the moment they sign a contract. It's nothing

person, and I'm sure they'll be fighting to kill you as

well. However, capturing one could lead us to find out who

hired them."

[19:55] "Exactly my thought."[19:56] "We'll have to send info back

to Suna if we find anything useful." "Sensei do you have

any of those mechanical birds like ChiyoBasama does?"

[19:56] "If we find the one who hired them we

can end this on a more permanent basis. Dead men don't pay

for work accomplished."

01[19:56] Sasori smiles, "I have similar

methods, how do you think I got the message to Suna so

quickly after the mine incident?"

01[19:57] * Hideki__Junichi shrugs "As long as we complete

the mission and protect Monobikei-hime, I'm willing to do

whatever it takes."01[19:57] * ~ShadowDM : -> Rokou: "Mine incident?"

01[19:57] * Tanshin_Yori looks like he has no compunctions

about killing anybody.

[19:58] " A previous Mission". He

explains to Rokou

[19:58] "I'm sure you wouldn't be interested

in the shenanigans of 'kids' such as ourselves."

01[19:58] He snorts, "Probably not."

01[19:59] Rokou leaves the room, probably to

get some sleep like Monobikei told him.

[20:01] "We ought to post someone on patrol

around the hotel to act as a lookout. We may want someone

to act as a decoy for Monobike-hime as well."

[20:01] "So, I need one more kunai to be able

to set three traps, anyone else have some to spare?"

[20:02] "I'll do it".

[20:03] "I can keep lookout, I even have some

sensory jutsu to help with just that job, but my range is

low, and I can't do much of that.

01[20:05] * Tanshin_Yori nods. "and on decoy duty..."

01[20:05] * Tanshin_Yori eyes Tanaka.

[20:06] "I guess that"s me".

[20:07] "The rest of us can position

ourselves to protect Monobike-hime and intercept any

suspicious persons."

[20:08] "First, some questions. Jun, what do

you know about her concerts? What kind of special effects

does she use? Anything you know could be of help in making

decisions."

01[20:09] * ~ShadowDM : -> Monobikei-hime: "I'm right here

you know..."

[20:10] Replies dryly, "I figured I'd give my

teammate the chance to show the knowledge of his devotion

and admiration. But if you'd rather tell me yourself, by

all means, go ahead."

01[20:10] * Tanshin_Yori rolls his eyes... not that anyonecan see behind the dark glasses.

01[20:11] Monobikei-hime rolls her eyes. "Some

pyrotechnics... not much other than that. A few beam-

lights..."

[20:12] Nods and ponders.

[20:14] "Anything else?",

[20:14] "Are there any points during the

concert where the audience's view of you is obscured by

smoke or fire? I doubt that the enemy would choose to

carry out the act in such a public space, but that sort of

cover would give them an opportunity."

01[20:14] * Hideki__Junichi is visibly sullen following theremoved opportunity to demonstrate his fandom.

[20:14] "I'm just trying to think, when would

it be most likely that our unknown enemies might make an

attempt, should we conserve our strength for the concert,

or spare nothing watching tonight?"

01[20:15] * ~ShadowDM : -> Monobikei-hime: "No... what

pyrotechniques we use are mostly spark showers, nothing

that would cause a bunch of smoke."

01[20:15] * Tanshin_Yori nods, contented.

[20:16] "Sensei, what do you think? Would

the kidnappers risk performing the abduction in such a

public place?"

[20:16] "That's good, and I suppose the crowd

wouldn't be any help to fleeing shinobi trying to hide

their trail either, normally it might be, but not a crowd

of rabid, overprotective fans." Eyes Jun pointedly.

01[20:17] * ~ShadowDM : -> SASORI: "It might be easier to

do so in a public place. The confusion of the crowd could

add to their escape. Perhaps one or two of you should go to

the stadium where she is performing tomorrow morning to

scope it out."

[20:17] "I'll take care of that then."

01[20:17] * Tanshin_Yori leaves it open as to whether

anyone else will be joining him.

[20:17] "Sounds like a plan, I'll go as

well since I'm the decoy".

[20:18] "If I'm not needed at the time you, go,

I'd liek ot ocme along. I'm good at finding and disarming

traps. And that might be their plan, a non-lethal trap to

remove her during the performance... Thoughts?"

[20:19] "... it's possible. If they're

planning to hit the concert, the kidnappers may be casing

the venue as well."

[20:19] "It's definitely possible,

maybe I should Henge now and see if I provoke a reaction".

[20:22] "If I can get them to force

their hand early, It'll be worth the risk. what do you guysthink?".

[20:24] "Only if we can capture or kill

them. We don't know how many of them there may be, or how

skilled they are."

[20:28] "If we capture one alive we'll

be able to find out. I'll be counting on you for that Yori

as I'm pretty sure Mono-sama walking down the street with

Inu on her back would draw a crowed".

01[20:29] * Tanshin_Yori doesn't look like he has a problem

with this.

[20:31] "Should I be going with you? They may

attack in force, and that would not be good. Plus, I'dreallyl ike ot get a better feel for what kind of venue

we'll be dealing with."

01[20:31] * Tanshin_Yori seems indifferent.

[20:32] Raises an eyebrow questioningly at

Tanaka.

[20:33] Tanaka thinks this over. "I

don't see why not, but you'd better finish up on those

traps then".

[20:33] "Shouldn't take too long."

01[20:33] Note: It's still night, barely past 9

PM.

[20:35] "It will take almost exactly three

minutes per trap, I only have enough kunai to set up two. I

need one more... Sensei, do you have one to spare? Not

poisoned, if that is at all possible."

01[20:37] Sasori looks as though he is about to

say yes, until you stipulate unpoisoned ones.

[20:37] "I feared as such. It's not that I have

anything against poison, but I'm not trained to handle such

the source."

01[20:38] * ~ShadowDM : -> SASORI: "Yes, I understand. I

could give you one of my less lethal ones if you're so

concerned. One that only induces unconsciousness."

[20:39] Considers for a moment. "It'll do,

though, I've really had enough unconsciousness to last a

few years recently."

[20:40] Yasu mumbles under his breath,

something about "damned crazy women".

01[20:40] SASORI: "You were only unconscious

for five days, don't be so dramatic."

[20:41] "I shouldn't have been unconscious at

all. Still, I guess your right."

01[20:42] Sasori pulls out a kunai and gently

hands it--hilt first--to Yasu.

01[20:45] any actions?

01[20:46] * Tanshin_Yori Yori gets ready for a long nightof standing watch.

01[20:48] You going to walk around the suite?

01[20:48] Currently, you're only in the living

room.

[20:49] Pacing makes people nervous. Yori

forms a chair from sand and seats himself so that he can

see all the entrances to Monobike-hime's bedroom.

01[20:49] you've have to be IN her bedroom to

see all the entrances.

[20:49] Exactly.

01[20:49] her bedroom has a balcony, 2 regular

windows, and one bay window.[20:50] "Hime, would you be kind enough

to give me some pointers seeing as how I'm going be acting

like you for a while".

[20:51] And unless she voices any

complaints, then that's exactly what Yori is doing.

have to work with."

[20:53] Tanaka stands up and makes a

hand seal. "Henge!". A puff of smoke appears and there

stands a decidely more feminine Tanaka wearing Mono's

cloths and hairstyle.

01[20:54] Do you look like her or like a girly

Tanaka?

01[20:59] Monobokei-himi frowns, "Well, you'll

have to do something about that face. But other than that,

why don't you walk around a bit so I can see how you move."

confident model esque walk.

fascination, and disbelief.

cords. Tanaka speaks in a pitch-perfect mimic of Mono'svoice, only with a low sexy edge to it. "How do I sound

Mono-sama?, Jun-Kun?" she sends a wink Jun's way.

bag and carries it and all the kunai into the bedroom and

begins setting up minor kunai traps, set to trigger when

someone comes through the window.

01[21:42] Monobikei-hime shakes her head and

goes to bed, changing into her nightcloths behind a screen.

01[21:42] Her dark-haired bodyguard follows her

into the room and sits down across the room for Yori and

stares at him.

[21:42] "I just wanted to say thank you

for being such a caring and dedicated fan and for being...

(Here Mononaka voices changes to a more recognizable one)

completely fooled.

[21:43] bodyguard... Rokou?

[21:43] ah.

01[21:44] * Tanshin_Yori removes his sunglasses.

And evil glare fixes on his face, only thinly masking

footstool and settles in for the night.

completely straight here Jun, while this has been

definently awkward for both of us, if either the other

teams or my dad get a word of this, I will hunt you down

break your arm and make you stab yourself in the face withsaid broken arm".

01[21:47] Tanaka, of course, still appears to

be Monobikei-hime.

[21:48] "I think we should let bygones be

bygones and go on with our perfectly undestroyed lives as

ninja. Also... can we please have this conversation without

you being Monobikei?"

[21:49] "It's weird but I think I'm

starting to like being her". Mononaka disables the jutsu

becoming Tanaka once more.

01[21:50] In a burst of smoke, Tanaka is once

more Tanaka.01[21:53] * Hideki__Junichi is visibly shaken. "L-Let's get

to work...'" (The awkward level is off the chart...)

01[21:54] Mai will stand by the main double

door to the hallway

01[21:54] incase the kidnappers want to take

the direct approach.

around with a small puppet with six arms.

reaching inside of it with tools and and constructing it.

close range fighting benefits his streetfighting style

Monobikei-hime's bedroom staring at her body-guard all

guide you to the stadium.

01[22:16] * Hideki__Junichi assumes a fighting stance

was going to greet my public". he unwraps Inu and places it

before him

we're here... and this does confirm that someone is after

stand a carbon copy of Monobike".

the party through the bustling streets of Fuushamorimura

for several minutes before the stadium appears through the

parting buildings and windmills.

01[22:26] Tall flat concrete walls plastered

with neon signs--now unlit--rise above you.

01[22:27] In the front, there is a wide

opening, but the bodyguard leads you to the side down an

alleyway toward a back entrance.

01[22:28] You enter through a loading dock and

pass through dressing rooms before stepping out onto the

stage where you can see the entire stadium bowl. The

stadium is a gently sloping paved area leading down to an

elevated stadium with a colossal arch-way behind which the

dressing rooms and storage/loading areas are held. The

entire area is surrounded by walls roughly twenty yards

tall.

01[22:29] * ~ShadowDM : -> Dark Haired Man: "Well, this is

it."

01[22:30] Back at the hotel... what is everyone

doing?

[22:30] Currently walking circuit of the outerwalls of the suite's rooms, using my sense chakra ability.

[22:31] Talking to Mono-hime and being

very alert

01[22:32] Monobikei-hime is cooking up some

powerful smelling concoction she explains is for her

throat. She drinks it before every performance and claims

it enhances her singing ability.

01[22:32] Rokou is sleeping...

01[22:33] Back at the stadium! Actions!

[22:35] Mononaka is walking in the

center of the group and scanning the area for any threat

01[22:35] * Tanshin_Yori checks for easy entrance/exitroutes which avoid the seating for the audience...

01[22:35] There is no seating, it appears to be

"standing room only"

01[22:36] there are wide entrances to the pit

of the stadium on the East, Northeast, and Southeast sides,

which you assume funnel to the massive entrance you saw on

the front.

[22:37] mmm... how about backstage?

01[22:37] You just passed through it. There are

a few side doors--most of them locked--and the wide

loading/storage area you entered through.

[22:38] hmmm.

[22:42] any sort of trap doors on the stage?

01[22:43] nope, as far you can tell the stage

is pretty much concrete and pipes, which you may assume are

used for pyrotechnic displays and other tricks.

[22:45] Well, barring having Mononaka pick

the locks on the side-doors to see where they go, Yori is

done inspecting the venue and will spend the rest of the

time keeping a lookout for the kidnappers.

he is at that moment, and draw his kodachi as he does so.

01[22:54] * Hideki__Junichi turns around and enters the

room, fists ready for a throwdown

01[22:54] Monobikei-hime follows behind

hesitantly, seeming more curious than worried.

01[22:56] Inside the room, you see that all

windows are broken with whisps of smoke dissappearing in

the new breeze. The door to the balcony is also open

through which several identical young men are moving

through.

01[22:56] * ~ShadowDM : -> Teens in unison: "There she is!"

01[22:57] * Hideki__Junichi moves to interpose, "Over my

dead body, bitches!"

01[22:57] * ~ShadowDM : -> Teens in unison: "Glad you're so

accomodating!"

01[22:57] They all appear to be wearing cloaks

and wielding knives.

01[22:58] Since this is obviously leading into
