Join us for a creative adventure through the arts! During our 2-week camps, students are introduced

to multiple musical instruments, create fun and educational art projects, and perform in a musical

theater show. Harmonia's highly skilled and experienced instructors are excited to help students

open their eyes and minds to a new world of performing and visual arts. Students are divided into two

groups, ages 5-7 and ages 8-14, and each group participates in programs that are tailored to the

needs of each group. The camps culminate with art exhibitions and

performances you will not want to miss!

SINGING WITH SHAKESPEARE WORKSHOPA g e s 1 2 & u p

This workshop is a amazing opportunity that is aimed to improve intermediate level performers'

acting and singing skills! In this one week workshop, we will combine text from William Shakespeare's

"The Taming of the Shrew" and the songs from the Tony Award winning musical "Kiss Me, Kate!" for a

final cabaret showcase at the end of the week.

Prerequisites: Must have theater performance

experience.

Junior Music Camp is a fun, activity-oriented musical experience! Children learn how to express

themselves through music and singing, and will also receive introductory piano instruction. Each day

a different theme is explored through music, arts, and crafts. Focus themes have included Dr. Seuss,

Carnival of Animals, Queen Elsa and Princess Anna, and The Wild Things.

Harmonia School has three Main Stage productions each year: Fall, Spring, and Summer. Unique to our

Summer Theater Main Stage, students have the opportunity to put on a full show the way the pros do:

with intensive full-day rehearsals over a concentrated period of time!

Students learn all elements of musical theater performance in a cooperative setting as they spend

two weeks in production. Rehearsals are led by experienced professionals with extensive performance

and teaching credentials in the performing arts world.

Our intensive program begins with an advance cast-placement audition and script distribution. Cast

members are expected to memorize all of their materials prior to the first rehearsal.This production

includes over 75 hours of training and three full scale main stage performances.

* Prerequisite: Experience in theater training and/or main stage performance is required.

ABBA's hits tell the hilarious story of a young woman's search for her birth father. This sunny and funny

tale unfolds on a Greek island paradise. On the eve of her wedding, a daughter's quest to discover the

identity of her father brings three men from her mother's past back to the island they last visited 20

years ago.

great opportunity for young beginners through

adults to try out different instruments before

making a long-term commitment.

Private and semi-private lessons are available

throughout the the summer for Voice, Flute,

Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, Guitar, Violin,

Viola, and Cello.

JUNIOR COUNSELOR INTERNSHIP PROGRAMAGES 15-18

Harmonia's Junior Camp Counselor Program offers a non-paid internship, with the opportunity to gain

documented volunteer hours, recommendation letters, and leadership experience. Junior counselors

may volunteer for one or multiple camp sessions. Junior Counselors are involved in every aspect of

camp; from participating in activities, to encouraging campers, and supervising projects. Students

ages 15-18 may apply to participate in this program by sending a short letter which includes

information about yourself, why you would like to be a Harmonia Junior Counselor, and the sessions

you would like to intern.Potential candidates should submit their information letter

along with a completed camp registration form to the

office ASAP, but no later than June 15, 2020 as spaces in

Deposit:

Camp - A deposit of $175 per session plus a one-time $40 Registration Fee (non-refundable). The balance must be paid

by May 15, 2020.

Music Lessons - No registration fee. Full tuition is required at the time of registration.

Early Registration: Registration fee is waived if registration is completed January 2nd - March 2, 2020

Refund & Cancellations:

- $40 Registration Fee is NON-REFUNDABLE.

- March 31: Last day for full refund on Summer Camp payment except for the non-refundable Registration Fee

- April 1 - April 30: $175 Deposit per session is not refundable

- May 1: NO REFUND for cancellation or no-shows

- No refund or makeup lessons for Music Lessons once the registration is completed. Students may change to a

different date or different time for lessons.

Cancellation: If a session is cancelled due to insufficient registration, an alternative session will be offered if/when

available, or a full refund will be issued. No refunds will be granted for for any camper leaving camp during a camp session,

or no-show for any reason. No refunds will be issued for any camper who is dismissed from camp due to behavior that is

disruptive to other campers or staff. Please note that summer attendance is important, as there are no make-up lessons

available for summer lessons.

Discount: When multiple family members or sessions are enrolled at the same time, one member or one session must pay

full tuition to receive 5% discount for the additional family member. Family and multiple session discounts do not apply to

private lessons. Multiple discounts are not permitted.

Release Agreement: By signing the financial agreement, I agree to the fullest extent to be responsible for any medical bills

which may incur resulting from illness or injury during my child's participation at Harmonia School of Music & Art Summer

Camp. I also understand and agree that my child is expected to carry his/her own accident and medical insurance. I

release Harmonia School of Music & Art from any and all liability and/or claims or damages arising out of personal injury of

any kind. If necessary, I authorize Harmonia School of Music & Art to administer first aid and/or authorize medical

treatment for my child. I have read and understand the content of this registration form, including the Refund &

Cancellation Policy and the Release Agreement.
