Summer Reading Program 2011 Rules June 5 - July 30 Pre-registration and Reading Log pickup for ages 2 through 12 begins Monday, May 23 at any library children’s desk. Reading and the first week’s prize redemption begins Sunday, June 5. Use the Reading Log to fill in either the number of books read OR the number of hours of reading completed each week. Every week during the program, participants may receive a prize by presenting their Reading Log to show at least 1 book was read that week OR at least 1 hour was spent reading. Weekly prizes must be claimed by Saturday of each week . Age-appropriate prizes for children 3 and under are available. Participants will receive a Reading Certificate when their Reading Log shows reading was done any 4 weeks during the program. For every 10 books read, OR every 10 hours of reading, participants will receive an entry form for the Grand Prize Drawing at the end of the summer. All prizes are while supplies last and prize substitutions may be made where necessary.
