At that end of the Vratam those Vigrahams are to be immersed in a water body (Nimajjanam). Sometime it is difficult to find a suitable water body to perform Nimajjanam. We would like to recommend the use of Haridra Ganapati (Vigraham made out of Turmeric) for the Puja. At the end of Vratam, this Vigraham can be immersed in a container filled with water. The Vigraham easily dissolves in water, which can then be poured in flower beds in the backyard. We wish you a blessed celebration of Vinayaka Puja using this eco-friendly recommendation.
