1 Introduction

The steps in this manual are described in a simple and detailed way, for you as an user, canmake use of this information and take advantage to make your job easier. You will be guidedthrough concise explanations accompanied by demonstrative graphics of the apps usage.

The server is the machine where physical information (database) is stored.

It is recommended that you run this process by your IT personal.

Please read this manual before starting the installation and configuration, if you havequestions please contact us via email [email protected] beforestarting the installation.

This manual is only for consultation purposes, and the examples given here may differ fromreal situation; it's just a document for Millennium SQL users.

The following tutorial shows the basic settings configuration, to launch Millennium: AduanasSQL installed in Windows 7 Ultimate operative system.

We don't see how to install Microsoft SQL software in this tutorial, it is assumed that thecompany have SQL server installed already.

2 Microsoft SQL Configuration

1. Once installed Microsoft SQL Server we begin the configuration , if we do not have SQLinstalled, click on the following link to receive the manual of how to install SQL Express2008 R2 (It can be any 64 bits version of MsSQL)

2. In the Start menu from windows , go to "All Programs", then to to theMicrosoft SQL Server 2XXX (R2) folder and do a click in the option "SQL ServerManagement Studio":

3. Type the server name in in which the Millennium: Aduanas data bases will be installed, asshown in the next picture

4. In Server name choose the option properties (do right click on it will appear the menu), toverify the connection security mode (Authentication) as the next screens shows:

The option "SQL server and Windows Authentication mode" should be chosen



2.1 Data bases creation

1. In Microsoft SQL Server Management on "Databases" do a right click, then do a leftclick on "New Database" option, add the data bases that will be used in Millenniumaduanas system.

2. Type the name of the data base in creation MA_DATA or Millennium_Aduanas_Data.Add another data base for control MA_Server or Millennium_Aduanas_Server (ControlArchives). as shown in screen.



2.2 Create users

1. To create users in Microsft SQL Server Management Studio access as WindowsAuthenticaction in the option "Security" do a right click in Login and select New Login asshown on screen.

2. In the next screen select "SQL Server Authentication mode". First of all, we mustcreate a user name as shown in the next picture (Capitals an lower cases letters must befollowed).

Create an admin user with password mbettaglo and one as Supervisor with passwordBETTA, they will have assigned to all server roles, and Mapping will be done as MA_DATA



and MA_SERVER

IMPORTANT: FOR SYSTEMS QUALIFIED PERSONNEL ONLY, If the company inwhich the installation is part of a corporate or is a company with high levels ofsecurity standard, probably you will not allow to assign all privileges to usersthat are discussed in this tutorial (admin and Supervisor), so they can workonly with the roles "public" and "sysadmin" if you can not assign the role"sysadmin" there is no problem, just to create the schema of the database inthe steps outlined below, you must use the user "sa" (System Administrator),which may also be that the corporate has its own password policy for thatstart session. This user has administrator privileges required to create andmanipulate databases.



In this screen you can see the Mapping of the data base MA_ DATA and MA_SERVER inthe user "Supervisor", and also the selection of roles, this procedure should be don also

with "admin" user.



2.3 SQL Server Managermet Studio

Explaining how to configure the network protocols and services SQL (SQL Server)server..

1. Do a click on Start option from Windows , go to "All Programs", thento Microsoft SQL Server 2XXX (R2) and click on folder "Configuration Tools" selectk "SQL Server Configuration Manager"

2.3.1 Networks protocol (SQL Server Network)

Next windows will be displayed, please choose "SQL Server NetworkConfiguration"



Once you select the option mentioned, it will display the Protocols corresponding toMicrosoft SQL Server, that are shown in the next screen .

In this example, Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 were installed, we select "Protocols forSQLEXPRESS" and it will display on right side its protocols.



In this screen , we can see an example of how we have to do enable the protocols, we needto habilitate Shared Memory , Named Pipes and TCP/IP

2.3.2 SQL Server Services

In the SQL Server Configuration Manager tool, select the "SQL Server Services"(which is to the left in the picture), to show the services you use in SQL Server, theywill be displayed on the right.



In the picture indicates that the Start mode of SQL Server Browser is inAutomatic , if the status is different, change it as it is explained below:



Do a Right-click in the SQL Server Browser, and a menu of options will be displayed,go to Properties:the window shown below will appear, select the Services tab) thenchooset the Start mode Atomatic, and to finish changing the Start mode press OK..



IMPORTANT: All services should be running except "SQL Server Agent" thiscan be stopped. You must restart the SQL Server for the changes to takeeffect.



2.4 Restart SQL server

In the Windows desktop, do a click on the start button, then to "All Programs", inMicrosoft SQL Server 2XXX (R2) folder access to "SQL Server ManagementStudio"

Do a right click over the name of SQL Server; it will make appear a small menu,click on "Stop" to stop the service. You will notice that the service has stopped whena small red icon appear aside the data base yellow icon.



We will do the same process to restart the service; but instead of "Stop" will press"Start", the server will appear as in the following screen with the green icon, thatindicates that the service is up again. This process of restarting the sql server, wewill need to do it every time we change something in the SQL Server ConfigurationManager.



3 Millennium Aduanas Installation

We will explain the procedure only to do the installation of the files needed to runSQL Millennium Aduanas.

3.1 Installing Software

Once installed and configured Microsoft SQL, the following to do is installing MillenniumAduanas, We need to download it from the page:

From the top bar select Updates option, then MICROSOFT SQL

Download the following files:

Note: Versions could change.

1.Create a root folder called MILLENNIUM_SQL on the main drive C:\ drive (or other unityou prefer). Inside the folder MILLENNIUM_SQL, create four more folders:



2. Copy and unzip the files: Todos los módulos (versionXXX_SQL.zip) & Libraries / System(dll.zip) in MA_CLIENT folder and MA_PROGRAM folder (both).

Look inside the folder called MA_CLIENT the file cpanel.exe and make ashortcut to the desktop.

3. Place in the folder MA_SERVER the license that was sent by Betta Global Systems, thefile named Masterky.sys

If you had previously Millennium Aduanas and performed COVE or Reportedor, copy thefollowing files to the folder of MA_SERVER otherwise skip this step: · If you were using the tool named COVE in the system Millennium Aduanas, copy thenext files:

· If you were using the tool named Reporteador, copy the next files: (if you weren't usingthe tools omit this step):

Also all files with the extensions *.lbl, *.lst, *.lbv, *.lbp, *.lsv .



4 Create Schemas MSSQL

In this step we will create tables needed for the Data bases created before MA_DATA andMA_SERVER in Microsoft SQL

Pleas execute the file, downloaded before Crea_BDXXX.zip, we need to unzip it and thenexecute it doing double click on Crea_BD.exe

After execute Crea_BD.exe, display the next window, we need to press Crear Esquemaoption.

Where:

Servidor: Is the name of the instan in MSSQL (E.g: PC\SQLEXPRESS)Base de Datos Server: MA_SERVER

Base de Datos Data: MA_DATAUsuario: admin

Contraseña: mbettaglo

NOTE: This step is for companies that will start from the beginning.

5 Accessing into the system

We must follow the next steps to configure the system.

5.1 Configuration Accessing to the SQL server

We create a "cpanel.exe" shortcut before in desktop, (from folder MA_CLIENT), to identifyit see the picture below, please do double click in Cpanel.exe Short cut:

It will show the next window where:Servidor: Mame of the instanse of SQL (E.g: PRO-02\SQLEXPRESSR2)

Base de Datos: MA_SERVER

do a click in Continuar; you will see next screen:



Fill up:

<drive>:\MA_SERVER\: You must select MA_SERVER folder, created before, in the rootfolder.

<drive>:\MA_CLIENT\: You must select MA_CLIENT folder, created before, in the rootfolder.

<drive>:\MA_PROGRAM\: You must select MA_PROGRAM folder, created before, in theroot folder.

Tipo de Estación de Trabajo: Servidor

Do a click on Aceptar you will see next window:

Execute the short cut again

To access into Millennium select the user: Supervisor and set the password:BETTA, choose the company Empresa de Ejemplo press continuar to continue.

Once you get inside the system, go straight to the Módulo Empresas, selectArchivos\ Empresas or click on the direct icon.



On Empresas screen select Empresas de ejemplo and press Modificar

In the next windows choose in Directorio de la base de datos: Servidor

Ejemplo:

press the button select the folder MA_DATA, where MA_DATA is the folder where thereports that we generate will be saved (pdf, excel, word)

The route of the folder will stay as shown below:

C:\MILLENNIUM_ADUANAS_SQL\MA_DATA\

It is necessary to add the name of the Data base (MA_DATA) at the beginning of the route,

separated by ";" , where MA_DATA; is the name of the databas.

The route should be like the line shown below:

MA_DATA;C:\MILLENNIUM_ADUANAS_SQL\MA_DATA\
