Along with Harvey, Bradley and their family from Wascana Cattle Co., we would like to welcome Scott and Maggie Mannle, Mannle Polled Herefords as new guest consignors. It is a pleasure to work with Scott and get a jolt from his enthusi-asm and agricultural knowledge.

We are proud of the offering in the 2011 sale. These females and herd bull prospects are from the very top end of our herd. They are the kind of females we would like to keep and bull prospects with genetics we know will work. You could call me old fashioned but I still want bulls with testicles, natural muscle and guts. I want cows that have nice neat udders and teat size; that can survive on stubble and still maintain the standards set for the Square D cow herd.

Her mother is an awesome uddered Stinger 779K daughter who was a show winner and donor female for Kootenay Polled Herefords in B.C. We were thrilled when we were able to purchase a female of this calibre. 950Y is sired by our senior herdbull Landmark. He is still very athletic and sound and still breeds 40 cows at 8 years old. His daughters are easy keeping and have perfect udders. A brunette and her blonde sister had just inherited a ranch. Terms & Conditions

Terms: Terms of sale are cash or cheque. In order that the cattle can be released or transfers can be made, settlement must be made immediately fol-lowing the sale. Receivables will only be made on order bids. Every animal sells to the highest bidder and in case of disputes, the auctioneer’s decision is final. Announcements from the auction block will take precedence over the printed material in the catalogue. Current exchange rates will be announced sale day.

Pedigrees: All of the cattle selling are registered with the CHA and any certificate of registration will be transferred to the buyer after the sale at the seller’s expense. Calf EPD’s are pedigree estimates.

Health: The cattle being offered are in good health. All the herds are maintained in a TB and Brucellosis free area. Any necessary tests needed for export will be arranged by Square-D following the sale.

Guarantee: The cattle are guaranteed in accordance with the rules and regulations as set by the CHA

Insurance: Authorized reps. will be on hand to insure your purchases

Transportation: Contributors will assist in any way possible in the delivery of your purchases. Cattle purchased by US buyers will be returned to the seller’s farm at the purchaser’s risk while pedigrees are being processes. US and Canadian purchases will be looked after at NO CHARGE until delivery can be arranged

Phone, Mail, or Wire Bids: Bidders unable to at-tend the sale can phone, wire or mail their bids and instructions to any of the owners, auctioneer or sale staff. Bids must be received in sufficient time prior to sale.

Risk: All persons who attend the sale do so at their own risk. The auctioneer, owners, management and sale staff assume no liability, legal, or otherwise, for any accidents that may occur.
