that they are engaged with group activities. Melissa Galfano has shown her

constant support for her fellow childcare professionals through assisting QCCN

staff with their work to benefit the network members. Rosalba Sarmiento

    CACFP documentation submission for QCCN.

As you will see in the next section, we would like to recognize our Korean

American providers who have joined the Network. As part of the Appreciation

Day Event, H annah Ko was recognized for showing promise for professional ad-

vancement and lasting success by her example of excellence as a provid-

er. Another Korean American provider of note is Young Kim, for supporting

family values and the importance of stressing the development of chil-

dren at home in a family setting.

In order to place the providers into these categories, the parents of the

children enrolled were asked to complete a brief survey regarding the skills

they found valuable in their childcare provider. QCCN was glad to receive many

responses and pleased by the positive messages about the providers. We thank

the providers for sharing their unique stories about how they began working as

childcare providers and their relationship with QCCN. QCCN values the skills

    childcare focused program.
