Georgia Winery and Rock C ity Partner! After a year of crafting, we are proud to announce we have reached a partnership with Rock City Gardens! The idea arose after Rock City sold Georgia Wines last year at the Summer Music Weekends. Sales went extremely well, which led to the two of us crafting a partnership. On January 7, 2012 we signed the official licensing that will enable the selling and tasting of Georgia Wines on Rock City premises. Plans are in the works to produce a specialty label wine for Rock City’s Rocktoberfest held in October as well as a Rock City Red in honor of Chattanooga’s staple tourist destination. We are honored to be working alongside such a well-established team and look forward to what is to come!
Meet the Staff:Want to know who that friendly face is that greets
you at the tasting bar? That would be our expert wine guide and gift basket special-ist, Dolores Jones! - We call her “DJ.” Dolores has been working in the wine industry for 5 years and counting. Her favorite wines here at the Georgia Winery are Tara Bella
and Martha’s Muscadine when she as a dry palate, and Southern Blush when she has a sweet palate! Dolores spent 27 years in Atlanta where she worked for Warner Cable (now Comcast) and made her big break producing one of the very first Realty networks. She and her husband now reside on a family farm in Ringgold where she utilizes her “green thumb” by gardening and nurturing the herb, Golden Seal. Her farm was awarded the Centennial Farm Award back in 2005. She and her husband have been married 32 years and have two wonderful children!
