Notes from the author• It's really easy to make kites with just regular construction paper and ribbon! I

suggest you use bright colors, to herald the return of sunshine.

• If you set a piece of paper down short-side up, just fold the top corners down a little past the center, and fold the bottom corners up to meet them. You have your diamond-shape (facing the back)!

• Now you can staple a ribbon to the bottom.

• You can also cut off the tips of the four corners you folded back, since they won't be visible, and staple the triangles to the ribbon tale to create bows.

• These can advertise springtime messages or what your residents did over spring break!
