Mother Daughter Book ClubGirls 10-13 and their mothers“Rules” by Cynthia Lord will be discussed. Catherine,12, has conflicting feelings about her autistic younger brother. While she loves him, she is also embarrassed by his behavior and feels neglected by their parents. In an effort for normalcy, Catherine creates rules for him (“It’s okay to hug Mom but not the clerk at the video store”). Each chapter title is also a rule. Red Gate Farm Riding LessonsAges 6 - 18Riding lessons include the use of grooming and riding arena, all equipment, and the horse.
