BIO Jason Richardson is SVP of Regulatory andBusiness Affairs for Results PhysiotherapyCenters where he oversees the strategicpositioning for the organization with payers,hospital systems, employer groups, commercialand governmental collaborative care entities.Results Physiotherapy operates 76 privatepractice clinics in 7 States in the Southeast.Jason earned his Master’s degree in PhysicalTherapy in 1998, and completed his Doctoralstudies in 2004 from Shenandoah University.

Jason is active politically with eliminating stateand federal regulations that negatively obstructpatient access and limit the practice of licensedphysical therapists. Jason also pursues top oflicense collaborations among health providers ininnovative health delivery models to improvepopulation health under the tenets of “triple aim”.

Jason served 2 terms as Secretary on theexecutive board of the Tennessee PhysicalTherapy Association (TPTA), 1 term on theReferral for Profit Committee with the American

Physical Therapy Association (APTA), andserved several consulting roles with insurancepayors and private practices. Most recentlyJason serves on the APTA’s Payment Policy andAdvocacy Committee (PPAC) and the PrivatePractice Sections Board of Directors. Jason isvery passionate about eliminating obstacles thatpreclude patient access and fair payment toquality therapy services.

BIO Justin D. Moore is currently Vice President,Public Policy, Practice and Professional Affairs atthe American Physical Therapy Association(APTA).   In this position, Justin leads the publicpolicy and scientific affairs agenda for an 88,000member professional society.   He leads a staff of29, 5 consultants and manages a $7 millionbudget to implement the Association’s strategicpriorities and initiatives as determined by itsmembers and Board of Directors.   Previous to thisposition, Justin held several positions at APTAincluding leading its Federal and State Affairsdepartments and serving as the Association’s leadlobbyist on Capitol Hill.   Justin has been honoredfor his contributions to physical therapy and publicpolicy by receiving the R. Charles HarkerPolicymaker Award from APTA’s Health Policy andAdministration Section and the DistinguishedService Award from APTA’s Section on Pediatrics.In addition, Justin has authored, presented andlectured on health policy, payment andgovernment affairs issues across the country andto a variety of health care and business groups.

BIO Linda Bloodworth graduated in 1982 fromSamford University and went on to obtain an MS inPhysical Therapy from the University of Alabamaat Birmingham in 1985. Since joining NHC in 1991,Linda has held several managerial positionsincluding Director of Physical Therapy at NHCMurfreesboro, Regional Physical therapy Managerand Regional Outpatient/Contract Manager. Sheis currently Regional Rehab Consultant (forPhysical, Occupational and Speech TherapyServices) for NHC’s Central Tennessee Regionand Director of NHC’s Physical Therapy GeriatricClinical Residency Program.

BIO Pat Flemming is a Level IV PhysicalTherapist practicing at the Pi Beta PhiRehabilitation Institute at Vanderbilt Medical

Center. At PBPRI, Pat specializes in working witholder adults with balance dysfunction and historyof falls as well as individuals with vestibulardysfunction. She holds a Doctorate of Science inGeriatric Physical Therapy and has been boardcertified in Geriatrics since 1995. Her doctoralresearch was on the validation of a fallsscreening tool in the home health environment.She has successfully completed VestibularCompetency Training through APTA/ EmoryUniversity. Pat is currently active with the statefalls prevention coalition and has completedtraining in the evidence based program SteppingOn. Pat is currently facilitating her secondStepping On class in the community.

BIO Michael is an Australian Musculoskeletaland Manipulative Physiotherapist. He graduatedwith a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2003 fromthe University of Queensland, Australia.

In 2009, Michael completed a further two years ofstudy to graduate with a Postgraduate Masters ofPhysiotherapy in the field of musculoskeletalphysiotherapy at the same University. This was asignificant achievement and a step forwards in hisclinical pathway in becoming a Specialist in the field.

Michael has recently relocated to the USA; priorto this he consulted at one of Australia's majortertiary hospitals. Here he provided expertdiagnosis and case management of patients withcomplex musculoskeletal conditions referred tothe Orthopaedic and Neurosurgery SpecialistOutpatients Department.

Prior to consulting, Michael predominantlyprovided healthcare within various PrivatePractices within Australia and London. Michaelhas been involved in providing physiotherapy toa wide variety of people, including adults,children, athletes and the elderly. Michael has aspecial interest in spinal pain and rehabilitation ofspinal muscle control, and thoracic and neckmovement disorders.

He is a very much a hands-on physiotherapist andaugments his treatment with a variety of exerciseto help promote movement performance.

He has practiced outpatient physical therapyutilizing manual therapy and exerciseprescription for the past 19 years. Craig haslectured on manual therapy and exerciseprescription locally, regionally and nationally. Heis currently the Vice President of Education atResults Physiotherapy in Franklin, TN andoversees the orthopedic manual therapy trainingprogram with Results.

COURSE DESCRIPTION Craig O’Neil from theInstitute of Advanced MusculoskeletalTreatments (IAMT) and Results Physiotherapywill present the concept of utilizing lumbarclassification systems in a clinical decisionmaking model. These systems include a

treatment based classification system, patho-anatomical based models, mechanism basedmodels, and movement impairment models.This course will present these differentclassification systems currently proposed in theliterature, the criteria for each of the systems,and the overlap and differences of each system.A case study will be presented to illustrate howpatients are placed into these categories andhow treatment choices are made.

She practiced atChildren’s Healthcare of Atlanta from 2012 to2013 and was able to have hands-on experiencewith the development of the APTA’s new CPG forCMT. She is currently working at LeBonheurChildren’s Hospital in Memphis, TN as an acutecare/outpatient physical therapist servingchildren of all ages and varying diagnoses.

BIO Raquel Keithley received her PhysicalTherapy degree from St. Louis University andcompleted her Doctorate in Physical Therapy atthe University of Tennessee Chattanooga. Shealso completed the certificate in pediatricphysical therapy from Texas Women’s University.She is a pediatric clinical specialist asrecognized by the American Board of PhysicalTherapy Specialties and is recognized by theNational Association of Neonatal Nurses,achieving the Developmental Care Specialist.She is a certified infant massage instructor andspecial needs child passenger safety technician.

Dr. Keithley was adjunct faculty at EastTennessee State University where she co-taughtthe pediatric physical therapy class. She alsolectures for Milligan College School ofOccupational Therapy for the NICU module.

Dr. Keithley is a pediatric physical therapist in theNICU at Niswonger Children’s Hospital InJohnson City, TN. Dr. Keithley has received the5 Star Award and the Servants Heart Award fromMountain states health Alliance and a ServiceAward from ETSU.

Dr. Keithley is a member of APTA, TPTA and NANT.

Raquel lives in Gray, TN with her husband Kevinand her children Kristin and Jase

BIO Roberta “Bertie” Gatlin, PT, ScDPT, PCS isassistant professor at UTHSC Department ofPhysical Therapy. She has 25 yrs of pediatricexperience, specializing in NICU, EI and outpatient pediatrics. She received her BS inEducation in 1986 from Memphis StateUniversity, BS in PT in 1989 from UTHSC andher Doctorate of Science degree from UTHSC in2013. In 2001 she became a board certifiedpediatric clinical specialist by the AmericanBoard of Physical Therapy Specialists, and in2011 she received her recertification as a PCS.Dr. Gatlin has devoted her career to serving thefamilies and their children within the NICU andtheir successful development post discharge.She is active in both the APTA and TPTA; shecurrently serves as Memphis District Chair of theTPTA, a member of the APTA section for theEducation, Neurology and Pediatrics. She ispresently TN state representative to the Sectionon Pediatrics, and the Neonatology SpecialInterest Group Vice Chair. Her current researchline is the late preterm infant and their high riskand developmental outcomes.

BIO Kevin has been a physical therapist for 38years. He has both a Masters degree and a Doctoraldegree in Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy. Hewas a full time clinician for 20 years and has beenteaching for the past 18 years. He teaches GrossAnatomy, Biomechanics, Therapeutic Exercise andOrthopedics at Tennessee State University. He haspresented at both state meetings and CSM onseveral occasions and has taught a number ofcontinuing education courses.

BIO Hollie Smith Mangrum graduated from theUniversity of Tennessee, Memphis in 1995 with aBachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy. She hasworked in the wound care field since 1995 in manysettings including acute, outpatient, home healthand some consultant work for Long Term Care.She became a Certified Wound Specialist (CWS)through the ABWM in 2000. She currently worksat the Wound Management Center at JacksonMadison County General Hospital where she

opened a Physical Therapy based Wound Centerin May of 2000. In 2006, the hospital contractedwith Healogics to convert the PT-based Center toa Physician-based Center and Hollie waspromoted to the Program Director. Hollie currentlyresides in Tennessee and recently graduated withher Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Universityof Tennessee at Chattanooga.

Hollie’s passion is educating both practicinghealth care professionals and students. She isAdjunct Faculty at Belmont University, Universityof Tennessee in Chattanooga and Jackson StateCommunity College as well as a speaker andpublisher for Academy Medical Systems since2002. She has served on planning panels forconferences as well as presenter.

She is actively involved in the American PhysicalTherapy Association (APTA), American Board ofWound Management, American College ofClinical Wound Specialist (ACCWS) andAssociation for the Advancement of Wound Care(AAWC). She currently serves on the Board ofDirectors and Speakers Bureau for the AAWC.

In her spare time, Hollie enjoys family time,sporting activities, exercise, and a good book.
