Learning Objectives:
The objective of this task is to improve students grip on the Literature Review, develop Hypothesis and Theoretical Framework
Learning Outcomes:
Students will refine their literature review by practicing this activity.
Question # 1:
Electronic (e) Government is the use of internet as a tool to achieve better
government. Thus government organizations are adopting eGovernment to enhance
the effectiveness and efficiency of public service. In the last ten years the
eGovernment has become one of the most important issues in management of
technology studies. Presently most governments have discussed the need to reform
and modernize their government organizations and promote electronic services.
Therefore, government aims to utilize new and emerging technologies in order to
increase its productivity to achieve high levels of performance and
customer/citizen satisfaction.
In the first step, you are required to explore:
1. From the literature, identify a set of current best practices for staff recruitment and retention in the private sector. Which, if any, of these could
be applied specifically to IT staff in the public sector?
2. Previous literature review on eGovernment initiatives. Can eGovernment projects really work?
3. Identify a recent or current eGovernment project in the context of Pakistan. Who are/were the key project stakeholders? What are/were their personal
objectives and values?

4. Support your argument from existing theories on eGovernment.
5. Literature review must contain 20-25 citations.
6. Referencing should be done in APA style.
In the second step of Research paper, you are supposed to:
Identify your Independent, Dependant, Moderating & Meditating (if any) variables.
Hypothesis is a proposed explanation for the phenomenon. Researcher tests the hypothesis on the bases of previous observations. Develop Hypothesis by giving proper support from the literature.
Develop Theoretical frame work on the bases of previous literature.

section. To write a summary in proper way you are advised to go through the
above mentioned material.
24 hours extra / grace period after the due date are usually available to overcome
the uploading difficulties. This extra time should only be used to meet the
