Digital Citizenship This unit includes a poster and double-sided bookmarks to use with students when discussing how to be a good Digital Citizen. It includes info about following an AUP (Acceptable Use Policy) as well as how to be safe while using the internet. There are also isolated pieces from the poster in case you wanted to use these pieces as the initial way to introduce the topic or for a final review.

Destiny Search Assessment I created these informal assessment cards because

I wanted a quick way to gauge how my lesson went after I taught the five main ways to

search for books using our Destiny catalog. The questions on the cards rotate between author, title, subject/keyword, and series. When I printed this, I selected 2 to a page,

and then hole-punched them in the corner. I hung them on a ring, which allowed me to

flip through different questions as students came up to check out their books.

Folktales, Fairy Tales, Fables, Oh My! This unit includes a blank color poster, a blank black/white poster, name cards for Fairy Tales, Fables, Myths, Legends, and Tall Tales, and the definitions for each story (characters, settings, problems, and solutions). Each week, you teach a new type of folktale, fill in the anchor chart, and then read a picture book. The chart can also be used to review with students. !!!!!!!!

Dewey Decimal Assessment I created these informal assessment cards because

I wanted a quick way to practice the Dewey Decimal numbers with my students after we

went over them in class. The questions on the cards rotate between all the 100 categories.

I also included a set of blank cards so that you can make up your own questions. When I printed this, I selected 2 to a page, and then

hole-punched them in the corner. I hung them on a ring, which allowed me to flip through different questions as students

came up to check out their books.
